Can't fault him for feelings of disgust towards those who have stood in the way of Federal aid. His quick rundown of the reaction times to disasters in the past brings things into clear focus.

I hope that things get better for NY/NJ and all the people still waiting for help after the natural disaster.

Here's a hint, just because the governer is requesting 60 billion doesn't mean congress has to give him that much. In fact the way it used to work is that a bill would be introduced and it would be debated, compromises made, and then voted on.

I prefer my tax dollars get used for some relief and rebuilding. But no, %40ish percent of it goes for interest payments to the federal reserve and other US. Institutions that hold our debt.

Another big chunk goes to the social security trust that politicians have been borrowing from for decades.

A smaller chunk goes to interest payments to foreign holders of debt.

It's time to chapter 13 this country so simple shit like disaster relief can get funded.

While Christie says words like unfair, second class, second rate, while Christie says words like that, a bill is still sitting on his desk UNSIGNED. A bill passed by both the NJ house and senate, a bill giving same sex marriage rights.
