if so, then introducing the joker in season 1 = desperation
they should have saved him till later.. much later, like end of season 3 as a cliff hanger to season 4.

i think it's a mistake to show every major from Batman's rogue's gallery so soon.
All that's missing is Harley Quinn.
What will they do in season 2? introduce batman's minor chars?

so, i'm a little confused... next week, the red hood is going to make his entrance... but we already met the joker... and it doesn't seem like they're the same people...

either way, awesome. i'm glad that bitch barbara walked in on jim and leigh kissing. fuck her.

I think the Red Hood thing will get around to Joker eventually. They setup the whole premise of anarchy and chaos as a precursor to the Joker's transformation.

Also, who cringed at the self removal of the eyeball? I know I did.

this weeks episode left a lot of questions:

1) what was on stage at the sex show that Harvey had to break cover and pull out his badge?
And who were on stage since he seemed to have a keen interest in?

2) I'm eagerly anticipating how Penguin will explain his way out of starting the gang war.
- Marconi should be asking the restaurant owner questions and she should finger Penguin as her new partner.

3) I'm puzzled as to why didn't Marconi wait to start the gangwar till he figured out why the hitmen's guns didn't fire.
if one gun didn't work, ok. but both guns???
looks suspicious to me.

4) penguin started the gangwar because he's sick of being under the thumb of Falcone?
what did falcone do to him? the show has shown falcone nothing but nice to penguin.

5) I think butch will be now more eager to betray penguin.
they were suppose to be partners yet penguin never told him about the guns that wouldn't fire, or his ultimate plan for a gangwar.

Well it lost all momentum when it kept taking 5 week breaks.

Season finale was super underwhelming. Like it had to close out all the story lines right away when there was so little build up to it all.
