In the Off Topic Sandy gas prices thread many people from this area posted the exact same thing about the huge price spike.

You also lie chronically and I have documented literally dozens of these, as have others. One such example was that stupid thread you made about an email that never existed. Hey, that's a big drop. It was 4.49 a gallon in Anaheim on the 19th at a Shell.

Mostly because:

1. Pasadena is always about 5-10 cents cheaper than most of the rest of SoCal.
2. Ralphs Club members get either 10 or 20 cent / gallon discounts if they shop enough.
3. You have to go to the right Shell stations that don't upcharge for using cards instead of cash (or vice versa for Arco stations that only take cash).

You have a history of making claims about gasoline prices that are completely unfounded, and many, many people have documented this.
