The japanese steel in my hitachi/john deere would fail them. It has anti-tank properties.

We have a surveyor, equipment operator, and me a Civil engineer. Lets do this ourselves.

We are missing 1 key component...funds.

There is a possibility they may leave the road closed indefinitely due to lack of funds. It happened in a small county it is very unlikely that they can afford to fix this disaster. It isn't just the road that needs attention, the slopes for several hundred meters each direction will need reinforcement as well.

even if you make a bridge over the culvert? Of course I'm sure a bridge would cost more overall.

Similar thing happened on the dirt road that borders my property (well, certainly not the same scale!) Bridge is washed out, so they're considering abandoning the road. Thus, the road will become my new driveway to my campsite. :)

It wouldn't just be the cost of repairing the road, the banks also have to be reinforced
