I don't know where I'm allegedly almost there or what you are wanting so badly for me to say.

I'm right where I always were on this topic and I've said exactly what I believe in.

I agree with the changes to Medicaid.

So are they 13 million people the fraud, the waste, or the abuse?

From the link you used:

Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” — which contains $4 trillion in tax cuts that would largely benefit America’s wealthiest household — also adds strict work requirements and other changes to Medicaid eligibility.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates that proposed cuts and the expiration of funding for federal health insurance programs could strip coverage for more than 13.7 million Americans by 2034.

More than 78 million people are enrolled in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, including more than 600,000 people in Ernst’s home state.

“While Democrats fear monger against strengthening the integrity of Medicaid, Senator Ernst is focused on improving the lives of all Iowans,” a spokesperson for the senator told The Independent.

“There’s only two certainties in life: death and taxes, and she’s working to ease the burden of both by fighting to keep more of Iowans’ hard-earned tax dollars in their own pockets and ensuring their benefits are protected from waste, fraud, and abuse,” the statement added.”

I don't need medicaid...

I've retired twice and live quite nice off of my two Pensions, Social Security and Medicare / Tricare for Life.

Thanks for your concern.

Thats what is called pulling the ladder up. Its interesting to watch a generation of americans not want to leave the US in a better place than they started. And unfortunate side effect of the coddling they receive while being convinced is was their rugged individualism that put them ahead.

I see no need to waste my time repeating what I've already stated.

The basic truth reveals itself. The conservative mantra: FYGM

Why should we give things away to people that are no eligible to receive services, money etc?

Why would we change the eligibility requirements to ballon the debt to half assed fund 4T in tax cuts for thr wealthy. We should just take it all away and really show them what conservatives think the average american is worth.

The reason for the realignment of Medicaid is to prevent it from going under and to bring it back into its original intent. Protect those most vulnerable the young, elderly, and those unable to work.

Not to provide services to illegal aliens, and people that refuse to work and those gaming the system.

Another silly request...

So the govt is incapable of determine eligibility requirements as it is? You believe adding more govt to the recipe will help?

That isn't what I said or implied. They are changing the requirements. I posted the link above.

Now they are going after medicare. I hope you're paying attention now.

I don't think denying someone services they don''t qualify for as fucking them.

So far you’ve yet to prove any illegal aliens are receiving such service and I doubt you can prove that Medicaid is going under but feel free to prove us wrong.

You’ve also somehow managed to fail to see that cutting people who are currently eligible is indeed f-ing them over all while proclaiming that you aren’t worried because you are eligible and currently receiving benefits. Are you so blind that you can’t fathom how you could be the next person to become no longer eligible?

You listen to your team constantly telling you there is another boogeyman. It's one thing after another and you never question if any of it is true. Of course they are going to lie to you. They want another big set of tax cuts and all it's going to cost the average American is anything that benefits the masses. Anything that keeps them from going broke or dying.

With inflation going crazy how come we aren't talking about raising taxes so we can have nice things? These cuts are going to hurt myself and my family. I also don't want my nieces and nephews growing up without safety nets because sometimes having one bad day can ruin yours and your family's physical and financial well being.

FWIW most Americans on medicaid actually work. Look it up. You're being lied to so they can justify tax cuts for people who wouldn't piss down your throat if your guts were on fire. You're on the wrong team.

surprise, surprise; it's a false talking point.

We were discussing the number from the Congressional Budget Office that estimated that 13.7 million Americans would lose Medicaid coverage by the year 2034. Not just Illegal Aliens...
