“Liberals are so mean” - greenman
I don't believe I ever said that.
Many of the fellows that haunt P&N are exceptionally angry, while tiresome at times it doesn't bother me, I used to be a Scoutmaster and have plenty of experience with angry children.

As for the millions getting thrown off health care it is because they are ineligible for medicare / medicaid. That is what the goal is remove those that do not qualify.
@pcgeek11 Still looking for you to provide that evidence that millions don't qualify under current rules.

I told you where I got that "millions" number from.
I guess you will have to continue "looking"
You said it was from an "article" but didn't provide a link.

Let me guess you will tell us "I won't do your homework for you" so your lie will stand.

Heard that one before from you people.

This is just sad. You made the claim that the point of the changes was to remove people who are ineligible currently while repeating the number was in the millions.

Maybe you can answer this question:

If these hypothetical millions are already ineligible why do changes need to be made to Medicaid and Medicare before they can be kicked out of the programs?

He is really trying dodge the real question by deflecting to arguing about a number he stated.

I stated The Article you know the one in the OP.

Where it stated:

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates that proposed cuts and the expiration of funding for federal health insurance programs could strip coverage for more than 13.7 million Americans by 2034.

So from that quote do you agree that there are not millions of people on federal health insurance programs who are ineligible under current rules?

I have no idea of the actual number, it could be more it could be less. Any number getting benefits that are not entitled is too many.

Do you know the exact number? Obviously neither does the CBO as the article states:

Congressional Budget Office estimates that proposed cuts and the expiration of funding for federal health insurance programs could strip coverage for more than 13.7 million Americans.

So if 100 unqualified are getting It, is 13million losing it acceptable to you?

It’s the cheapest method of providing healthcare. Everyone should qualify simply for being alive. Then we could stop the astronomical waste and corruption of our current private health insurance system.

Ok, but that is exactly what the CBO is estimating will lose it. Thoughts?

Then they must not be meeting the elements of being eligible as identified by the changes in the rules. Such as Work requirements, Eligibility Determinations and Immigrant Coverage,

Can @pcgeek11 meet the work requirements himself??

Asking for a friend!

I don't need medicaid...

I've retired twice and live quite nice off of my two Pensions, Social Security and Medicare / Tricare for Life.

Thanks for your concern.
