GOP Senate Candidate Declares Pregnancy From Rape Is "Something God Intended"

I always wondered if republicans were cognizant that they're absolutely terrible people or if they blissfully think the things they do and say are ok
 
Opposition to abortion is anti religious or at least anti Christian. Religious fundamentalists say that life is sacred but that's simply not true. There are immutable truths to religion, that there is One God who is omniscient and omnipotent. This means that everything that happens is already known and willed. This means quite simply that every child that is aborted was always know would be aborted and was intended to be aborted too, just as every rape and pregnancy that results was similarly intended. God, in his infinite wisdom selected before even time began, that some kids would be murdered by his will and that also after that, that all those tool killing mothers who are believers would be forgiven and saved. Those so called religious morons who want to save those babies that are to be murdered are attempting to interfere with the will of God and prevent the salvation of those women. And this is the real big picture ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Not a single word of it can be argued with that will not refute Gods will or omnipotence.

Assuming you are not being facetious I wouldn't go that far. The people that are trying to change things would also be a part of Gods plan and a person's mind is changed as a result that is also God's plan. The only thing you can say is what has already happened and what eventually does happen is all according to God's plan.

If this guys wife is raped and gets pregnant is he going to explain to her that this is what god wanted? Can't believe this way of thinking still exists, the middle ages were long ago, perhaps we need to start burning witches again?

If the church is so pro anything a man does then why is masturbation considered bad?

Why isn't it considered ok to abandon your children if you are a man. In fact unlike abortion society will come after you for it.

Its almost like society is willing to *gasp* disapprove choices men make.

Sounds like the early leaders of the church as children had all been caught masturbating by their mothers and been made to feel guilty about it;and when the Bible was created they decided to take out their their pent up anger and guilt of the incident on the followers of their religion.

I kinda forgive this guy for his words. I think he meant well and just said it wrong.
But if he did mean it word for word, then 9/11 was also Gods will?
Like saying God willed the terrorist with success?
Or getting mugged and robbed is Gods will? So why protect yourself or call the police?
And if a wife discoveres her husband is cheating, then killing him for that is ok because it was Gods will?
Just how far should "Gods will" as an excuse go?

What you are saying is that you wish God removed your free will and turned you into an automaton. However your argument is based on a false initial assumption. Here is an easy example to help you understand why it is false.

Every parent who has ever taught their child to ride a bike knows the child will fall at least one time. Parents do not want bad things to happen to their children. Parents let their children learn how to ride a bike knowing bad things will happen to them.

According to you, parents are dicks, pure and simple. I feel sad for your mom and dad.
