They actually are quite decent and not sure if it was a one time thing or if it's how they're made, but they don't seem to be a danger to other non nuisance rodents such as chipmunks and squirrels. We had some in the camper under the driver seat and other areas we did not really go in and it was basically set and forget. There was not really a big mouse problem but once and a while there might of been mice in the camper.
One day we were playing with the chipmunks and squirrels and just for fun let a chipmunk in the camper just to see what he'd do (we totally forgot about the mouse traps) the chipmunk darted straight for the seat then I'm like "oh no the mouse traps!" but before I could react I heard SNAP SNAP (both traps) then the chipmunk ran out unharmed. A normal snap trap would of probably harmed the poor thing.
Oh the fun of camping, miss those days. I also remember rescuing a family of mice from a huge hole lol. Literally, a family. The mother, daddy and like 5 kids. They were so cute.
