Texas executes retarded people all the time.

Or elects them governor. 😉

How about you comment on the story. A girl doesn't deserve to die for insulting a religion, shes a freedom fighter.

Rather than face the truth you want shut down people who disagree with, typical leftist

How about you comment on the fact that a root vegetable is smarter than you are.

This case just shows how backwards the country is, Christians are already preparing for the assault and massacres that will come because of these actions.

Its quite sad that you would rather attack me than defend an innocent child's freedom but I am not surprised by this

Nope not sad at all.
Pakistan is a horrible, backwards place, and I feel sorry for anyone having to live there.
However, I live in the US and we have enough problems of our own here for me to worry about some kid halfway across the globe.
Call me callous if you want, but dem's the breaks. Life isn't fair, never has been, never will be.

But if it happens here will you condemn it such as the judge who tried to support sharia law?

How is that Conservatism? The fundamental value is freedom which they dont have

LOL, you can't even break down your own wing.
The fundamental principle of conservatism is "me me me me me me me." This translates to freedom for those in power, because such a self-centered person acting in total disregard for anyone else will effect laws which do not hamper him and which hamper anyone else's attempt to limit him. Take note of that, "hamper anyone else" -- it is in no way a principle of the modern American conservative to put any socialistic limits on their "God-given right" to oppress others -- they believe in a no-holds-barred free market grab for privilege, because of course the white Christian male is going to come out on top in that one.

In Pakistan, the same process doesn't so work out in the white Christian male's favor. So, surprise surprise, the white Christian male isn't in the same position extend his power and privilege to confer protection on those he deems fit. It's still conservatism, though -- just a different winner.

Interesting new development. One of the plaintiffs, an imam, has been arrested. Witnesses have testified that the said imam added pages of the quran to the things burned by the girl to strengthen the case against her. He has been charged with 1) blasphemy and 2) fabricating evidence.

In your opinion
What will happen to the imam?
What should happen to him?

Will this issue have a greater impact on others bringing charges against people who are not of the Muslim faith?

Ohhhhhh, I get it. When their religion doesn't allow something and applies it to people of other religions, it's wrong - it's about freedom. When YOUR religion doesn't allow something and wants it applied to everyone else, then that's okay.

For example: morning after pill. YOU apply YOUR religious beliefs, in the name of Conservatism, to be against it; taking away what others believe is a freedom. Another example: marriage. YOU apply YOUR religious beliefs to say that two men may not be "married." I believe I've heard some people saying that marriage itself is a religious institution, which completely ignores that virtually every culture everywhere has some concept of marriage, regardless of religious beliefs. Denying that freedom is Conservatism. But when they deny something due to Sharia law, it's "taking away freedoms!"

If you agree with me, why the hell did you start this thread?

BTW the rest of your reply is your usual hate filled nonsense.

I dont fully agree with you, the point of the thread was how bad the situation is and how this CAN happen in the US since we have creeping sharia.

Will you condemn the judge who wanted sharia law?

I live in Pakistan and the Western media blows these things way out of proportion. Minorities are being targeted, but it's much less severe than it was in the USA in the 50s and 60s against blacks. There are about 5% non-Muslims in Pakistan, but generally there is not much discrimination against them in government posts and private offices.

This girl will NEVER be hanged. It's just propaganda. Not one person has ever been sentenced to death for blasphemy. The girl does NOT have downs syndrome. There is no proof of that.

I don't know why the Western media is making such a big deal about this. It's reported here to, but we have many other bigger issues--such as illegal drone strikes and terrorism directly related to false American media leaks.

oh look our resident taliban has come out of his hole.
