Maybe in that state at most. Did other countries reform their gun laws b/c of Columbine? It's sensationalism at its finest to think that Obama will immediately change gun laws b/c of these incidents.

OR upgrade mass transit around big cities, that number should decrease a lot...well, at least the amount of drivers/drunk drivers.
 
The secret is not to ban guns, just create fear that there will be a ban. This rises prices 50-100% higher then they would normally be, and triples ammo prices. This puts legal firearms out of the reach of most people.

Illegal firearms however..those are always cheap and easy to acquire.

Didn't they do that already? Isn't there increased sentencing when a gun is used in the commission of a crime?

1. OP, the P&N forum is that way (<===).
2. These events will most likely not impact gun control laws because there are already new ones coming (that will suck and accomplish nothing).
3. If only more people owned and carried guns the shootings in Alabama might have resulted in fewer deaths.

at the rate ammo prices are going now, they won't need to ban them. I could buy a box of 50 rounds of 9mm CCI Blazer at Academy not even 2 years ago for $3 box...that same box is now $11 if you can even find them in stock...

If the encoded ammo thing ever happens, no telling how much ammo will cost...

It's getting tough to buy ammo these days because so many right-wingers are going out and buying guns out of reform fear. Basically people who start threads like this one assume that the 2nd ammendment right will be taken away.

I'm just waiting for a year or so to pass so they'll get over it and closet their guns. 9mm ammo is really difficult to find.
