get a ps3. if you have a gamecube then get zelda for it, no need to buy a wii just for zelda.

Why do you assume he's getting a Wii just for Zelda?

Because it's presently the only game worth playing on the Wii :p

I won't get a PS3 until its like $300, the system is not even remotely close to being worth $600.

See you in 10 years!

I would not waste good money on a PS3

Yet you'd waste good money on a 360? What's wrong with you?

There should be an exchange only (defective) or store credit only returns for major eBay items like this.

I am tempted to get the Xbox just for Burnout 3, but I think it would lose its luster quickly.

Then what consoles (previous gen) do you like. For do you prefer PC gaming?

A) Someone explain to me how someone can break a wrist strap and damage their TV with the wiimote considering that people play real sports with clubs/rackets/bats that have no straps and rarely launch them into outer space. Imagine if pete sampras needed a wrist strap...

B) The $600 PS3 is a decent buy if and only if you are in the market for a next gen dvd player. Sony seems to have bet too much of the idea that people are willing to shell out for it. I almost wonder if they did it knowing it wouldn't sell well just hoping to do whatever it takes to not be betamax'd.

C) When people talk about PS3's in stock are we assuming they are the $600 ones? Because the cheaper ones seem more easily available.

The last console that had more than four or five games that I enjoyed was the SNES.
