i just sent these guys an email, gonna call em later on. It doesn't say they dont accept credit cards. It says they just don't know yet so chances are they COULD. I've been to that bar plenty of times, and they definitely accept credit cards for other stuff, so I don't see why they couldn't for PS3's.

You think you can make much of a profit off of $1200/PS3? I don't know...seems the margin would be slim.

I'd rather chance it with CompUSA's buy-an-HDTV-get-a-PS3-preorder, sell the PS3 for a free HDTV, personally.

with the amount of ps3's cut basically in HALF now for launch, the price of the ps3 is going to go WAY up. i'm not worried at all about it. I'm sure I could make atleast double the money i invest into ps3's if I were to sell them all.

I dunno...I just have a bad feeling that once eBay is flush with PS3s, bids will be a bit lower. I'm sure you'll make your money back, though...just thinking about how much better it would be if you didn't have to pay double just to get in the game. Good luck though.

Yah but I didn't have any at actual launch to sell, they were all online orders. I would have made a lot more if I had them on actual launch to sell heh.

If your TV is HD, I say get the PS3, HD movies are freaking beautiful, also if you like the games out for PS2, the PS3 is bound to have a huge catalogue of games of similar gameplay.

The strap is there, it works fine, the replacements are CYA for dumbasses who weren't using them or using them correctly. If you lose your wiimote, it's your own tard fault.

Wii and 360 = Console Gaming Heaven.

You get the best of both worlds. The Wii is just plain FUN! I actually can't wait until I get another one (sold my last due to it being Xmas). WiiSports, as silly as it is, is flippin awesome. I've never gotten so into a game as I do playing homerun derby or bowling...especially with a goup of buddies.

The 360 is graphic-sex....there's some pretty fun games too. Sure, the PS3 may have some real pretty titles coming up but it's so damn expensive. What's going to happen when Blu-Ray players drop in price? Will the PS3 do the same?

It just seems like a rush job on Sony's part...I'll probably buy one to check it out but, I really think MS is going to win this round, with a surprising success by Nintendo.

Even with the strap, there is no way the controller will slip out of your hands unless you are frantically over-motioning. Some people are throwing their remote for the bowling game as if it is a bowling 10lb ball, thus snapping the straps.

I am really disappointed with PS3 lineup. WTH, it's Xbox 360 launch all over again. I was hoping Sony would have a big name Japanese developer make a game for the launch, but the games are very mediocre/unoriginal/pathetic.

no, you don't. the stories on the internet don't tell exactly how it happened, or how they held thier controllers. all it shows is damage. I had the wii for about 3 weeks. I didnt have any problems with it flying out of my hand but i did swing it pretty hard when i was having fun.

Yah if you owned a Wii or even played one you would know that something like waving your arm around hard enough to create enough force to break the wrist strap, and then having it break your TV, is far more than you actually have to move your arm in order to use the wii. it's just people being stupid or trying to be funny then fvcking up.

Sshh don't tell anyone, but I finally broke down and sold my used wii for a decent amount. More than what I paid for it.... however, the wii was so fun (4 player tennis is cool), I'll probably buy another when there is less demand.. probably 3-4 months from now (I'm going to be out of the country for a while anyways and my friends have one that I can miss around with) ... For now, I'm waiting for my new computer which was in part paid for by the wii.. i'll planing on installing a 8800gts video card.. so its going to kick asse...

So whats my point, ooh yea.. if you can afford it, get a computer with a good graphics card if you want great graphics that will blow away the ps3.. if you want to have fun with friends, get the wii... don't get it now though unless you have money to burn.. wait a few months when the prices are less expensive...

If I had to chose RIGHT NOW between the ps3 and the wii, I would get the wii. Is it worth the $100 -200 premium.. I would say yes.

Wii, on the other hand, has been absolutely awesome for me. I love it. It looks great, and it got my whole family together. The whole Mii concept is brilliant. It brings people on the web together, and family members laugh @ each other because they make each other's Mii's.

Well I will be getting a PS3 in the end!! I am going to split the cost 1/2, 1/2 with my father. I don't actually think this is a mistake. I won't be getting any f the launch titles but instead will get Final Fantasy XII (a PS2) title. I have never owned a PS1 or 2 and while I wait for some good PS3 titles to launch I have a very large library of PS1 and 2 titles to play. Yes I know of the stories that the PS3 has some problems with older titles but it should play the vast majority to titles fine. Also as I mentioned previously blue-ray titles should look good on our large screen TV. I will probably get Wii at some point in the future also.

None of the consoles really do it for me. The Xbox looks pretty nice, and the Wii is fun at first, but I can't see myself playing either one regularly. Other than Zelda, I don't see a whole lot of draw to the Wii, and given the parts of the Zelda story that I've seen, I'm not a huge fan of it.

I am tempted to get the Xbox just for Burnout 3, but I think it would lose its luster quickly.
