The bolded sentence makes you a bigot. Your hatred is unfounded. I try not to hate people without a really good reason, even if they have differing opinions on how to live their life. As long as it doesn't harm other people.

Bigots like you make up 26% of 18-29 year olds.

Sweet.

So you quoted me in a post where I said I don't care if I'm called a bigot. So thanks for restating that part.

And good to know there are 26% of people in my age group who are very similarly minded. I wonder how many non-bigots there are who think it is weird? Probably a lot. Lets just face it, it will never be normal.

Bigotry/homophobia not found. Parents/folks need to draw a line somewhere and this definitely crosses the line. Fuck being PC, it's why our great country is going down the shitter.

HOLY CRAP!

This thread is disgusting. I didn't know anandtech was THIS backwards.

I feel ashamed to be a part of this community right now. Imagine if some person with a non-standard gender or sexuality read this thread. Sheesh...

So many of these comments are full of ignorance and hate. So many uneducated opinions and being spouted, and literal harm being wished to a 7 year old kid just because he doesn't fit into societies current norms.

This post would make great copypasta for many other ATOT threads, with the appropriate edits.

You could probably post it in every single P&N thread and it would fit.

69% think it should be accepted. You are so fucking stupid that you don't even know the definition of "normal." You are abnormal for your age group.

You're also too fucking stupid to understand trends. If you actually read the link, you'll see that this is a very clear trend. In 10 years, you will be too scared to spout your intolerance in public, just like racists are now.

Unless you're also a racist.

Key words: just like racists are now. They still exists, and bigots will too. You can make us "quiet" but there are still many ways for us to make your lives difficult, even while quiet.

Good luck, have fun waiting ten years.

BTW: I think you're retarded but you don't see me losing my shit and name-calling.

No, you were thinking very clearly... when you said you'd encourage your kid to bully that boy.

How about growing the fuck up? How does a boy wearing a dress affect you in any way whatsoever? If you have a problem with it, you can pull your child from the school. If you don't like the fact that the school isn't tossing the kid out, pull your child from the school. A grown man apparently has an issue with what some little twat is wearing and you're calling the rest of us retarded?

Grow the fuck up.

More name calling/losing your shit. OK.

I would encourage my kid to bully that gender-screwed child. Correct. 🙂

LOL

Why would I care what someone who just admitted to being on the same level as a racist thought?

You hate because you are ignorant. Good luck being in a small minority of hateful people that are afraid to openly speak their dumb minds.

You think I'm afraid. That is said. I'll go up to that little messed up kid's parents and tell them what they are doing is messed up.

Why would you care what I think? I dunno... it's just that you keep posting in my thread and responding to me... I thought you cared about me?

That's what I mean by retarded.

You've got a whole host of choices, chief among them being pulling your kid from the class/school. But, no, that would be the wrong one. Instead you'll just encourage bullying which will only get your own kid in trouble and potentially you if the kid says that daddy told him to do it. You aren't very bright and you don't seem to care for your children's well-being either. To have glossed over this is rather shocking.

Even more telling, imo, is that a grown man gives a shit what a boy is wearing. That's a very special kind of retarded that seldom shows itself. You, sir, are truly one of a kind.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Causes_of_transsexualism#Biological-based_theories

Several medical journals are referenced in which they find differences in MRIs of the brains of transgendered and normal people.

You didn't seem to understand.

Eliminate dresses tomorrow and the MRIs would still be different, but the clothing controversy would no longer exist. I'd argue there's nothing biological telling a small child to wear one piece of clothing or another. The only ones creating a controversy here are the adults.

My kid should be able to go to k-6 in a public school. I'm not pulling him from a public school. The twisted kids can go to public school to but don't tell me to be tolerant and tell me I should treat them like they are normal. What they are will never be normal.

At some point I will pull my kid and send him to a private school. I'm east coast, will likely live east coast. Maybe Andover, or Exeter like where I went. And when he is at the private school among similarly privileged children, I am sure he will find plenty who think just as he does and just as I do. That was my experience at least.

Completely agree, but remember that until you put him in a private school you're potentially risking having him taken from you for encouraging that sort of behavior. You can be an idiot all you want, that's you're right (and you've taken it to an extreme, I think), but putting his ties to you at risk because of some little shitmonger wearing a dress is retarded.

You're not very bright, but I'm hoping you can at least understand that much.

So you are telling me that my kid is going to be taken away from me? Because he gives the gender screwed kid a hard time?

So because he name calls this kid, and his friends do too, they are all at risk of being taken away from their parents? Haha. What elementary school did you go to? Kids give other kids hard times for whatever they want. Having a green lunch box might get you made fun of one day. There is no way this is going to be a problem.

Thank you for your concern though, I truly appreciate it 🙂

^^. If little Timmy-fuckface says this to his teacher you're in trouble. You're not living in the '60s anymore. No matter how much you want to deny it, you're fighting an uphill battle against a much stronger army. Living in denial to prove a point filled with self-admitted bigotry isn't the way to raise any kid, never mind forcefully having the child get himself into trouble.

Not if he bullies a gay/trans kid. If it came out that you told the kid to do it, you'd be in danger of losing your kid. If you want to be so intolerant, you should just send him to an anti-gay christian school.

OP is reminding me sort of how Hitler was before he started gassing all the jews. Dude is basically running the Hitler Youth, but teaching his boys to hate on gays or could be gays. Pretty messed up right there.

Just live your fucking life bro, don't worry about what the kid in the dress does. Jesus christ you are an asshole.

haha guys. I'm not going to tell my kid "BULLY THIS KID".

I'm going to raise him so that on his own, he will dislike this other child. I'm going to raise him to understand that you are either a boy or a girl, and I'm going to raise him to speak his mind. He is going to realize that this boy-girl isn't right, and he will speak his mind.

No trouble there.

You're the one calling my future child a fuck-face.

First of all it is not a trend. This is a tiny, tiny minority.

What is wrong with telling your son, "Thomas you can't wear dressed. I don't care if you cry for the next 6 months, I'm not letting you wear dressed."

I actually agree with the above bit. Social norms do exist for a reason, and I don't think there's anything wrong with telling your kid not to deliberately make themselves look like a weirdo.

One thing is for sure, I'm going to tell my son to go into his elementary school class and make fun of the gender screwed up kid in the class. I'm going to tell him, "he is gender screwed-up is what he is."

I'm going to tell him to make fun of the kid, tell him to tease him, get his buddies to tease him. And if I get called in for a parent teacher conference, I'm going to tell the teacher that I support my son and the way he behaves.

And this is where I realized the OP is a total asshole.

Although in your defense, that bit of hypocrisy fits pretty well with the rest of your posts in this thread:

Too stupid to read own posts and too stupid to adhere to a single ideology.

?

Oh right, you're an idiot.

You seem to be a lot more full of hatred than I am.

You think that Mitt Romney was told by his parents to make fun of the boy with long hair for looking girly? No. He did it on his own. But his parents sure as hell didn't tell him that that boy was normal and to accept him.

Is it that hard to stomach that normal people can dislike the gender-screwed?
