Once again, name calling and no substantive response.

Troll, troll, troll your boat.

Lol, The substance is already there. There's no need for any further. With arguments that only work if you believe something like I think ill people should spend all their time in a hospital because the idea of them existing is icky to me then yea you're going to get called a retard. That's a choice you're going to have to live with. If you want substance, refer above or google some more medical journals. If you want to get derided more for your bigoted, ways keep posting. If you want information on why you shouldn't be a bigot, maybe pick up a philosophy book. I'm not really in the mood to go into it.

It isn't like millions of boys will want to become girls. This is a small part of the population that feels they were born the wrong gender, most men feel like they are men, not woman. I don't see much of a problem because it really isn't a bunch of people we are talking about here.

If it was a bunch of people I'd be worried about what the fuck is going on with the human race, and how would we procreate if we don't fuck the opposite sex.

Just wanted to say that I've all the responses to my post and I agree with every one of your posts. And this guy keeps calling you a bigot... and you keep calling him out on name calling. I don't understand what he is trying to say.

Glad that there are still some people with their heads on straight.

Here in India we have a funny tradition where most of the boys, under 7, will be dressed as girls.. including jewellery, make-up,etc. and get their photo taken. I have a photo of mine dressed as girl.. I really look pretty cute though, and funny if you look back at it. :p

Also, OP is a moron.

You are a moron.

There is a huge difference between dressing up like a girl for a photo, and crying and begging mommy to wash your dress so you can wear your favorite dress to school tmrw.

I seriously deride the notion of any natural biological process that lends a child to want a dress or not. The sort of clothing we wear is a societal construct.

Dude I'm not joking.

As loud as the over-zealous liberal parents are, trust me, many people have the same feelings as I do about this.

And: I want my masculine son to make fun of the pansies in his class. I want him to be a leader, be captain of his sports team, go to a good college...

Feelings = shared.

This is true, men could wear dresses and girls could wear boy clothes.

What would still exist is gender roles. And the boy probably shouldn't wear "boy clothes" in that situation, it would be off.

One thing is for sure, I'm going to tell my son to go into his elementary school class and make fun of the gender screwed up kid in the class. I'm going to tell him, "he is gender screwed-up is what he is."

I'm going to tell him to make fun of the kid, tell him to tease him, get his buddies to tease him. And if I get called in for a parent teacher conference, I'm going to tell the teacher that I support my son and the way he behaves.

this is the stupidest thing i've ever heard a parent say.

What a sad life you must lead to actively encourage teasing someone. How big must you feel for intentionally picking on a kid? You must walk real tall knowing how you'd put an eight year old in their place. Pathetic, truly pathetic.

What a shocking development, he's wearing an article of clothing meant for a girl. This is truly where the adults need to step in and encourage teasing.

I can't fathom what gets you in the frame of mind to encourage teasing any kid at all since you should be an adult but hey at least your kid wouldn't have to put up with it after they get expelled. That is assuming they aren't smarter than you and ignore your pushes for teasing.

I always stand tall, I'm 6' 4".

I don't want my son to grow up thinking that this type of thing is acceptable. I don't want him to walk around seeing a live freakshow and assume it is a strep in the right direction.

You should tolerate my beliefs.

And trust me, my child isn't going to get expelled from any of grades k-6... nobody gets expelled from those. He is going to get away with it. I'm not going to let his liberal ass teachers jam this down his throat.

I see a problem when NYTimes writes 8 pages about it.

Troll, troll, troll your boat.

There is no point in substantively engaging bigots. Eventually, the shame of being thought of as bigots makes them shut the fuck up. Soon anti-gay and anti-trans bigots will be too ashamed to publicly spout their hate, just like racists are today.

Cling onto that hope. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Since when did bigot become a term tossed around so freely? I'm tolerant of certain differences and intolerant of others. You just don't like people who are intolerant of gays, transgenders, etc. Call us bigots. Whatever you want.

Oh my god, you are the most special person I have ever seen. May I help you put on your velcro sneakers?
