The American consumers tapped out their ATM's (their homes} and now credit card debt is going through the roof. If the retailers have a bad holiday season, then there will be lots of good post-Xmas sales.
On the otherhand, inflation is running over 11% annualized (if you believe the Fed's numbers, called hedonic pricing, you're either on some good drugs or are very ignorant) so we have a short window of opportunity.
And with the dollar at all-time lows, with no support level in sight, higher prices are inevitable, especially imports.
Happy Holidays,

Not sure why you'd pay 270 for a stock, when EVGA is selling the SuperClocked for 10 more on their site.

OOS at all three as of right now (7am, 11/12).
Outpost/Frys says "Call for availabilty."
BestBuy says "Shipping: Coming Soon."
OnSale says "Place your order today and be one of the first to receive this product when it arrives!"

You can check stock at your local store for Best Buy. The BB near me has the BFG in stock.

My 8800GT SC is still waiting to be shipped from ncixus.com. My order stages all completed on Thursday last week (including product availability) but the shipping stage has not cleared.
Now today my order is no longer in my "Pending" queue when I check order tracking but is listed under "Order History." Maybe it's been shipped? Crossing my fingers but not holding my breath....

Anybody know how to set the fan speeds reliably for the 8800GT in RivaTuner? I can set 1 speed for all 3 (2D, low 3D, high 3D), because the settings are grayed out for anything other than high 3D. Low level fan control also seems horked up (maybe b/c RivaTuner has not released an updated version, but still...). Do I need to use nTune? I want to set my speeds at something like 25/50/75.

Just got my new 10/12% coupon in the mail from Best Buy and they have the 8800GT in stock at my local BB... but sadly, I can't use the coupon until the 16th.

Call Best Buy to check availability. It showed unavailable in all stores in NYC but when I called and had them go through their system, they located some.
