Weird choice of baseline CPU and even weird is that the baseline score is 2500.

i7-12700 does hardly 2000 in GB5 with the fastest DDR5.

Not really surprised. I9 class product with 8 big cores, slightly higher boost clock, more L3 and AVX-512 support vs. the lowest end Arrow Lake i3 class processor... Yeah, it SHOULD be better in MT at this point.

In MT, 10 core comet lake was better in MT than the lowest I3 class Alder/Rocket lake parts. The 9900KS demolishes dual core Rocket Lake and Tiger Lake parts in MT.

But the ARL 8 cores got so close. Intel could've had the first 48 thread consumer part had they only worked a bit harder to enable HT.

6.5 is out. SME support for windows on arm

Cool, Mediatek Dimensity 9500 comes with SME in 4 big cores. Qualcomm upcoming X Elite and X G2 are supporting SME as well. Soundwave which is fabbed at N3P should come with X935/X930 core similar to D9500, thus should support SME.

OTOH, N1x might not...

To no one's surprise, more use of SME.

I'd expect that the tasks that were optimised (manually even?) for SME should show quite a speedup from 512bit AVX-512 units too, if the benchmark was equally optimised for x86...

AVX-512 doesn't boost the score by 7% like SME Does more reason to not use GB6
