90 cents to fill up the other day! Came up around 40 bucks. If this stays it will be nice but I have a feeling this will be short lived. I have not seen gas under a buck since before 9/11.

Not really. More like laughing at all the fuck-tards who are buying SUVs again.

I have a neighbor who ran out and got TWO SUVs last week because of these dropping prices. Consumer whore at his finest.

^ for those who don't buy cars every 2-3 years, buying a car they think is most practical for every use outweighs any extra cash paid at the pump. Would you buy a small house to live in for 10 years if you wanted to start a family this year? If you're in the market, you future-proof it if you're spending that much.

For those who do buy every 2-3 years, they can buy an SUV and not feel heavily burdened should prices go back up again... they can get out of it soon enough. Or, they don't care because they drive half the mileage you do annually. Regardless, if they feel the need to pay $10k or $20k more for a larger vehicle, they shouldn't care about an extra grand or two in gas.

I've never understood the reactionary crowd, who goes out and spends $15k all of a sudden to save 5-10mpg. Calculator anyone? Secondly, are they living paycheck to paycheck that they must react to immediate conditions? What are they doing buying brand new vehicles?

yup, the price premium of a prius takes very high gas prices before it pays back within the cars lifetime😛

funny anyways. the same folks who buy foreign sometimes buy junk like "fair trade coffee". supporting american auto workers with things like health insurance is apparently not fair enough i guess😉

meh

The station up the road from me was at $1.59 on Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped a little since then.
