Garnett's heading to the Celtics

These guys should work pretty well together. KG is very unselfish and will let the natural scorers in PP and RA do their thing. It's hard to imagine them being a crappy team next year, maybe they don't win it all but they will definitely go deep into the playoffs.

But damn it must feel good to be Celtic fan. To go from the gutter to instant contenders in one off-season is pretty amazing. I guess that's what 2 decades of suckitude will get you. Man maybe now we can get the old Celtics-Lakers rivalry going again...

A league source just confirmed that the Celtics and Timberwolves have finalized a deal that will bring Kevin Garnett to Boston in exchange for Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff and two first round draft picks.

Holy shit, the Celtics gave up alot.

Talk about a top heavy team. The trio should be able to carry this team all year and probably in to the playoffs, but a deeper playoff team will likely shread them.
