Why shouldn't we expect ethics in journalism regardless of what material they're covering? We turn to review sites or YouTube videos to try to get opinions on video games to help determine whether a game is worth our money, but when YouTubers are offered hype pieces or physical goods through PR companies, you're starting to muddy the waters. It's pretty much the YouTube equivalent of the Kane & Lynch scenario.

Regardless of the silliness that we've seen with people bickering back and forth like a playground argument recreation, we have been seeing gaming sites and YouTubers start to show a lot more transparency. It does help that the FTC has rules about transparency in paid endorsements, and it was made quite apparent that some YouTubers were not following them properly -- whether by choice or inadvertently.

On one hand, you have the anti-GG crowd apparently doing "false flag" interviews, trying to make GG people look like racist misogynists, and on the other hand, you have GG people jumping head first into the #proteinworld situation, which has nothing to do with gaming, journalism, or ethics.

Both sides are fairly dishonest. Seems like it'd be easier for GGers to say they don't want women messing up their video games, and for women to say they just want men to pay attention to them and actually care nothing for video games.

Not sure how you got that impression, Not Juice is just a troll who had some fun exposing just how terrible a writer that buzzfeed person was, not going to call them a journalist....
But the problem is other sites end up citing such articles without checking because that's how they roll, then those sites are cited by wikipedia, and then lies become the truth, and that's the game that's been played forever now.

Anti GG doesn't have to do false flag interviews, the media will simply lie for them, and they have entrenched themselves in places like wikipedia where they can control the narrative.

Protein world is simply a matter of being anti censorship.

These feminists/activists complain about "harassment" but you saw what they did right? They are the first to break the law, vandalizing with impunity, and even bomb threats.


The mind set which allows for the corruption affects all things, you don't think they stop at gaming do you? The links to education, politics, social media, academia, and tech have been made, its all part of the same deal.
