Why ask about a difference and then proceed with a similarity, as if that's likely to lead to a valid conclusion. She only has a few premises to work with here. Since it's not valid, it can't be worth anything as a statement, surely?

There are are least three contingencies: the contingency of purity, fuckability, and... we'll call it "general worth." In order to be pure you need to be pure (that's the only contingency, however you want to measure it, virginity or whatever). In order to be fuckable, err, i guess someone needs to have you as the object of lust or something, and finally... oh.. well... you can't really quantify what someone is worth, because that's ridiculous.

What this writer, and just about every feminist on the planet, has forgotten is what "abuse" is. A negative comment that made you all hurty inside is NOT abuse.

Yes, there are those who make troll-threats with zero likelihood of follow-through, but I highly doubt it's many more threats than any male gets for writing any kind of opinion piece. The Amazing Athiest had a long talk on that very subject and how many women threaten him with harm and death every day for speaking for egalitarianism instead of feminism.

Once again, let's clarify what a "death threat" is.

"I hope you die" is not.
"Drop dead" is not.
"I wish someone would murder your whole family" is not.
"I'd hatefuck him in the left ear until he's dead in the gutter" is still not.
...but most feminists would consider them to be.

There's a pretty narrow definition of a genuine death threat - and sometimes it's hard to take those seriously after Sarkeesian, Wu, Quinn and their ilk have fabricated a number of them for publicity.

Yeah, pretty much. If a handful of, say, black media commentators said something critical about Van Gogh, and Van Gosh fanatics sperged out and starting an internet cult centered on their perceived persecution and harassing and threatening all black media commentators in super racist terms, I'd think that was really dumb too.

It's just Van Gogh. It's just video games. Some video games are super fun, but you should have enough other things going on in your life that it's just not a big deal if someone on the Internet says something mean about them.
