I felt so bad for the Phillies tonight. I don't know if statistically they do better at home. And they're coming in at 1 and 1 so they deserve a good reception at least.
Took me a minute, but "very interesting" as Sergeant Schultz would say.47 & 34 at home (13 games over .500)
40 & 41 on the road (1 game under .500)
and I'm guessing even a small risk of injury doesn't justify "recycling" pitchers.

edit: nope not gotten.
Great news, even if less so than is probably warrantedSo yes, huge home-field advantage.
turns out you can't really pwn nbs when you're 50 years old and are not spending 10 hours a day gaming.
i thought this was a NEF thread. I had to read it not two but three times to understand that you are talking about .. uhhhh. ... BASEBALL ?Also you become disoriented and post randomly?![]()

astros were 51-30 on the road.Technically what the visiting team wants to do in the World Series is get at least a split in the first two on the road so they have a chance to win it all at home in 3-5.
In other words even though they lost tonight Philly actually got it done in Houston.
Having said that, Houston's pitching staff is SOOOO much deeper than Philadelphia's (especially the bullpen) I just don't see how they can match up over 7 games.
