why is everybody ganging up on the OP? subway in this case is obviously being very shady. whatever the OP did wasn't out of the line like what subway is doing.

This is definitely not a normal practice by any Subway I've gone too, and my girlfriend has worked at 2 of them.

If it happened as you described,that is false advertising and you should report it immediately to the better business bureau. Not calling people on their sh!t is how these things keep going on. You've already tried to reason with them, gave them a chance to mend their ways. Now it's time to call "Shinanigans!" and go get your broom.
As for "Only" a dollar, fcuk u only a dollar, that was his dollar, and subway bilked him out of it. Just because you light your cigars with five hundred dollar bills doesn't mean everyone else can afford to do that.
Once I ordered from Jimmy Johns, and they charged more than the listed price on their menu, they even included a new menu with delivery that listed a lower price than what was on the reciept. I never ordered from them again, and I never will.
It also pisses me off that at radio shack, they listed a phone as costing forty dollars, but didn't have the actual price listed anywhere, it was really $180, 40 was after some rebate my bro wasn't even eligible for. That's false advertising, it's illegal, and I'm never buying from radio shack again either. If I want a new phone, they're cheaper on ebay.
