BIOS is completely up to date. The board is listed on Asrock's website as being compatible with the 8150. Swapped memory, tried a different CPU in the board, nothing works. Folding gets sometimes gets to 7% before erroring, most of the time it won't make it beyond 2% though. It then downloads a brand new WU.
When I first started folding, I completed a couple of WUs, but then it started hard locking. It has hardlocked twice. Tried all the usual culprits (PSU, memory, CPU). So either Asrock has some issues with their BIOS still, my chip is a dud, or BD has some serious problems in general with folding. Stock clocks, stock HSF. Temps within spec.
I'm running Prime95 on it now and going to let it go for 24 hours (unless it errors before then). Also going to pick up a 6100 or an 8120 with another motherboard (different brand) and do some more testing to see if I can replicate the problem.
