We were watching one of those medical shows and some guy had a 109 degree fever for a long time. The ER doctor was freaking out. He had been in police custody. Turns out that he had swallowed a balloon full of drugs before being arrested. After he was arrested he passed the balloon. So to not be caught with the drugs he swallowed the balloon again! YUCK! Well the balloon burst and flooded his system with drugs. He lived.

his brain ok?! can he do all physical functions? can he think, remember, have good short term memory, no seizures, dexturous, etc etc?

111 degrees, like a lot of people said in here, is death, or just brain damage. If his brain is ok after that w/ no brain dmg whatsoever, that's so lucky. Have the docs look into his brain activity?

yea unfortunately those shows are not *always* the pinnacle of reality..
