I received my new NEC 930sb monitor today after placing the order last week. Open the box, take it out, hook it up.........no image....none...nada....zilch...not even a check signal message. Just to make sure I wasn't missing something I call NEC. After waiting for 20 minutes I talk to someone and he tells me "Yeah it's dead. Send it back to Newegg." So then I call Newegg to get a replacement sent out. The guy I talk to tells me they cannot do that. They need me to call NEC first and open a case. I tell the guy I just got off the phone with NEC and that they said to return the monitor and wouldn't open a case since IT JUST ARRIVVED TODAY!! He says sorry, that's our policy. Tells me to call NEC again, open a case, then contact Newegg with the case number, then they will give me an RMA #, I have to box the monitor back up, take it wherever to have it shipped(paying for shipping of course), then when they receive the monitor they will send me a new one. BS!! Complete and total BS!! I have bought a lot, and I mean a LOT, of equipment from Newegg and other online vendors and this is the first time I have ever run across such an idiotic procedure. F that! I'm going to box the bad boy up, send it in, get my $ back, then buy a monitor somewhere else. Thanks a lot Newegg.....hope you are happy. You just ran off a longtime and loyal customer.
