Yup, I believe it ended this tuesday. Good thing I got it last saturday and the mobo is still sitting on the desk with the chip lol.

This is $169 today (fri march 22) through monday at Sacramento Frys. I picked one up today but I cannot figure out what fan/cooler to use on it. There are capacitors near the cpu that limit the size of the cooler. I tried the Orb 1 and it would have ripped right through that big ole green capacitor. Which ones are u guys using that bought this combo???
 
The Volcano 5 is a perfect fit and is on AMD's list for the 1700+. The Volcano 7 is too big, but I modded it to clear that green capacitor. I only had to take about 1/4" off the corner of the heatsink. I get a CPU temp of 37C at idle with the Volcano 7. I think the Volcano 5 would be fine and you can get it for $10 at Frys.
