Read that Jan 28 is the day for pittsburgh. I hope as I'me paying as much or more as everybody else who has cable so if there speed is way up there then mine should be more that 2.4 to 3.2 varries from test to test.

Lets hope TWC here (Raleigh) does the same.

anyword on Richmond, VA?

LOL - actually, I think this is what happens when you press the back button at CNET's bandwidth meter. It reloads the test from your cache without going to the server.

Infinity is quite a good connection though. Good times...

Pittsburgh never got there today like they were suppose to at least not me. I get tow different speeds with speakeasy I get 2945 down with others I get from 19 to 22 go figure what one is accurate.

I contacted Comcast and it was pushed back to 1/31/05 as they had a problem🙁

Wow. I live in Clinton Township MI and mine was upgraded more than 6 months ago. I guess it's because we have two cable companies competing for cable and internet...

I've got mine in Nashville.

Those bandwidth test on broadband report are freaking USELESS and always have been.

It shows me downloading at "359.2 KB/sec" but when I go to somewhere like IRC or other places I download at 520KB/sec. They have never been accurate for me and I think they are really hit or miss.

The best way to test your speed is to actually do it from high speed servers and download/upload large files.

before unplugging modem: 3.1/192
after unplugging modem 4.1 🙂 / 256🙁 why is the upload not following?

gotta admit that it feels quick though... may be the test is off???

Hey ya'll I posted this over in networking forum about 2-3 weeks ago.. I got some links there to the discussion on DSL REPORTS.. there is also a group on yahoo devoted to the rollouts..

It appears that parts of washington state ??? may have been upgraded but sometimes people in DC mistakenly think their the only washington.. so perhaps a glitch. I'd guess because most of the database I seen looked to be back east that it's not for us californians for a month or so.. no biggie..

O and no one mentioned this..

784 uploads and 5mbit downloads are going to be available for 10.00 more a month.
