Ok, so what exactly do you want done to Fox News and Hannity because of this? Should they be fined? Taken off the air? (Oh wait, they're on cable).. Perhaps prison time?

Lets assume for the sake of argument you are right.. Fox News LIED about this.. they did it purposely.. What should happen?

you SHOULD not defend Fox.

as should others.

doing so only displays your partisan hackery...

You realize Obama does not host the Daily Show right?

But its comforting to know how much you care for the situation in Afghan. After supporting the Neocons fucking it up so badly so blindly for so long, getting so many people killed, I thought you didn't care anymore. :( That made me sad...

Between 200 and 7 million people just came together to say "Thank You"

Yet Obama has taken Afghanistan and managed to make it even WORSE than the Neocons did... MORE soldiers died in 2009 under Obama's command in Afghanistan than ANY previous year. By FAR. By the end of 2009 its likely almost twice as many soldiers will have died than any year of Bush's administration.

If the current troop death rates in Afghanistan continue, Obama will surpass the number of troops who died in 8 years of the Bush Administration in just 3 years. So YES, I DO care. I also DO care that he refuses to act on the recommendation of his HAND PICKED commander in Afghanistan for more troops. While he wastes time attacking Fox News, our troops are DYING.. and DYING in record numbers.

But yes, lets worry about Fox News..

Ok, so they should maybe report the mistake, apologize.. then ? What exactly do you want done about this? Is there proof this was an intentional act and that Hannity knew about it? If so, what should be the punishment for this type of thing?

yes I think they should publicly recognize that the Daily show caught the deceit, and admit they shouldn't be doing stuff like that. and make an effort to their viewers to at least TRY and be Fair and Balanced

whats wrong with that FNE? you think they should get away with shit like this?

as far as punishment...I think as long as they get to pull this shit its punishment enough that others get to make foxnews look like the amateurish fools that they are..

They should probably stick to falsifying documents against Republican Presidents.. apparently that would give them credibility.

If this is the worst that Fox News has done, I guess they are pretty fair and balanced.

Fox will stick to doctoring photos that make Israel look bad from now.. They've realized their mitake and will only lie when it hurts Republicans, Christians, or Jews like the rest of the media.

I used to. But this situation of running the wrong video is so outragous, so damaging to our nation, that I've seen the light and will support any actions our commander in chief determines necessary to right this wrong. This could be considered treason.. I wouldn't be against a firing squad if Obama deemed it necessary to protect our country from heinous acts such as these.

And the Dow Jones has increased nearly 60% in 6mos. At that rate, in 3yrs, the Dow will be 70000! We'll all be too rich to care!

Yes, more people are dying because its a big double-fucked frak-up with Baconnaise that's been left to rot for years. Add several thousand more soldiers into the mix, drizzle of re-organized insurgents, dash of heroin money, cook under pressure from the Pakistan flank, and you get a nice big bloody shitburger. You helped cook it, feel free to take a bite.

Did you really expect something else to happen? Do you not forsee adding thousands more people into the grinder will make the mess even bloodier, if at best, only for the short term?

Perhaps if the Rs cared more about winning wars than elections, and Bush took his CIC responsibilities seriously rather than just farming it out to the ever revolving door of war college lackeys, perhaps we wouldn't be in this mess.

But yes, Obama is too busy as program director for the Daily Show. He needs all this time to think out a plan so that we may so throughly unfuck ourselves. To accomplish that, he might really have to be the messiah.

For having complete control of government, the left is sure throwing one hell of a hissy fit these days. Its amazing one network can do that to an entire political party. Hell they have the POTUS practically crawled up in a little ball under the oval office desk.

I wondered when you'd show up, Nancy.

Then why would President Obama and several high ranking members of his administration feel the need to attack them?

Why do they constantly feel the need to make up outright bullshit? Why do you feel the need to defend them, other than being an authoritarian pussy subhuman scumbag sack of shit who thinks he's a tough guy?

Fox News alters footage of a conservative rally

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/20091111/ts_ynews/ynews_ts977

The controversy stems from an anti-health-care reform rally held last Thursday on the steps of the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., which Rep. Michelle Bachmann termed the "Super Bowl of Freedom." The Washington Post estimated that the rally drew roughly 10,000 attendees, but Fox News commentator Sean Hannity claimed on his show that the event drew 20,000 people, while Bachmann, appearing as a guest on Hannity's show, estimated that number to be much higher, up to 45,000. In the process of lauding the turnout "in the middle of the day on a Thursday," Hannity showed footage of scores of people assembled in protest, presumably at last week's rally.

When contacted by Yahoo! News about the matter, a Fox News spokesperson declined to comment, but added that Hannity will address the issue on his show airing Wednesday night. UPDATE: At the tail end of Sean Hannity's show Wednesday night, at approximately 8:55 p.m. EST, the Fox News host had the following message concerning the controversy:
"Although it pains me to say this, Jon Stewart, Comedy Central, he was right... It was an inadvertent mistake but a mistake nonetheless.”

I love how when a conservative makes a mistake, it was on purpose but when a liberal makes a mistake they "misspoke".

At least Hannity has the balls to admit the mistake on national TV unlike some liberals who will remain nameless.

Funny how the Liberals like to focus on these nobodies who hold no power when there are people IN GOVERNMENT like *cough cough* Nancy Pelosi and Barak Obama *cough cough* who are lying to the American people every day.

(Examples off the top of my head would be Obama's pledge to no sign legislation without it being posted on-line for 72-hours and having public comment and then signing his first piece of legislation without that promise / Pelosi claiming there would be no vote on health care until the final legislative text has been posted on line for everyone to read and then voting on legislative text that was not even a day old)

Then again, I guess we can't all use taxpayer dollars to buy white coats for everyone at a photo opp..
