It's even more amusing to watch the sheeple wingnuts try to defend the fraud that is Fox News.

Apparently being a fraud is able to make the leader of the free world cry like a little bitch.

Oh so you think civility is a weakness?

I am not sure I have seen ANYONE defend the content of one news outlet or the other. What I have seen is people defend their right to broadcast it, regardless of whether or not one agrees with the content or not.

I think crying about a news organization from someone who has 90% of the media behind him makes him weak. Civility would be doing your job as President and not blaming others for your lack of leadership.

Scarborough denounces right-wing 'hatred,' launches 'conservative honor roll'

MSNBC morning show host Joe Scarborough went on the attack against right-wing "hatred" Tuesday and declared he would be putting together a "conservative honor roll" to reward GOP politicians who denounce the rhetoric of commentators like Fox News' Glenn Beck.

"We're going to have a conservatives' honor roll on this show," Scarborough continued, referring to his show, Morning Joe. "And trust me, you want to be on this honor roll. I'm talking to you Mitt Romney, and I'm talking to anybody who wants to be president in 2012 -- you need to call out this type of hatred. Because it always blows up in your face.

"Conservatives who don't call him out are responsible," Scarborough said. "I don't care if right-wing nuts get upset with me, that's just the reality."

There goes that damn leftist Scarborough, again.

You obviously missed my posts in this thread. I don't deny Fox is right-leaning and has its own share of spin and propaganda; the point above is that CNN and MSNBC might be more subtle, but are just as guilty on the left-leaning side of things.

CNN is the cable news network that fact checked a comedy skit just because the target was Obama. No bias there though.

I am not advocating that the channel be shut down. But I definitely would not go to Fox News for a balanced reporting of the news.
And...IMO...MSNBC and CNN are 100% pro-Obama...the bias reeks on both sides of the politcal spectrum. Isn't it interesting how some people become so used to the smell of shit in their own pants...and are so sensitive and offended by the smell of shit wafting from other people's pants? Equally interesting is that once one of the smarter ones realize that maybe there actually is a slight odor coming from their pants...they quickly point to the 'fact' that their shit don't stink nearly as bad as everyone else's (hmmm...I think Pavlov was onto something).

Anyway...you speak of regurgitation by the Right...do you not see the regurgitation from the Left. Let's be honest here.

Your opinion =/= reality. Just because a story is reported differently on the various networks does not mean they are '100% pro Obama'. I'm guessing to you anything that isn't 100% anti-Obama is this 'liberal media' you guys speak of. Fox constantly distorts and misleads their stories to fit their desired end result. Add to that talking heads like Beck and Hannity that insert their 'opinions' as proof of said analysis and you have a network that is the opposite of 'Fair and Balanced' as they claim.
So...what are you saying...your opinion is reality?

You are missing the point I am making. What does it matter if it is biased? That is my argument. Let them be biased -- who cares. Do I care if CNN or MSNBC are left-leaning, for example? No, let them broadcast what they want -- it is their right. That is my point.

There were a couple of posters that said Fox should be taken off the air. Dave McOwned was one and I don't remember the other name.

But what idiots. I am sure their comments will only drive more viewership to FOX and hurt the already sagging ratings of the other members of the state-run-media.

That comment is fucking rich considering there's a link in this thread to GWB's press secretary admitting the WH gave Fox talking points.
And the current administration would never dream of using the media to further their agenda? Get real. Your world view is incredibly twisted...holy shit!

No, reality is reality. The 'liberal media' networks you claim are 100% pro Obama have run negative stories on him before and after the election. FFS the Rev Wright story ran 24/7 for weeks then the Ayers 'relationship' ran right after it. Then there was the 'bitter' story after it. Recently it's been Obama not getting his health care passed and the Olympics loss. IOW, your claim of 100% pro Obama bias is BS.

OK, I am willing to give this some consideration. What would constitute a "left leaning" media source if one existed? For the sake of argument, I am assuming you are correct.

Look under your nose...the liberal media is saturated with the Obama agenda. Take off the blinders...you complain of the Bush administration having "their hand up Fux News arse" and yet turn a blind eye to how the Obama administration is adulated by MSNBC and CNN and their ilk. Hell...CNN just did a fact check on a SNL skit making fun of Obama...not even Fox News stooped that low to kiss ass. Get real.
