Umm the HC was never a crisis, it is only a crisis to those who want to make a story of it. It is the people who think they are entitled to having HC because they are "American".

The unemployment has very little to do with Obama, it is the state of the country and society as a whole. Unemployment was bound to climb high.

The housing market was also in a crapper or headed in that direction long before Obama took office. It is again, the society as a whole. People who can not afford to purchase a home, regardless of the good intentions should not have a home. I blame the Democrats for passing the legislation and the Republicans for being mum about it. Do not get me started on Freddy/Fanny Mac.

The only thing really Obama's fault is the bank situation, it is a mess and should have been properly looked at without tossing money around.

I never said ANY of these things were his fault. He needs to start LEADING and FIX some of the issues. Attacking Fox News should be #8340854309583045 on his list of things to do.. but it seems to be #1.

Oh I agree, it will just harm the Democrats in 2010. I actually like how they mention Fox on MSNBC or CNN.

Funny how studies (such as the Pew study) have been done in the past that show Fox News is the LEAST BIAS news outlet.

Fox "News" = Slanted fringe right wing yellow "journalism".

Other "News" Networks = Calling out Fox for what it really is on a point by point basis, and for this they are being labelled "left wing".

Oooooooo.....Kay! LOL

The prime time personalities on each of the news networks clearly demonstrates the bias of each.

I would contend that Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow communicate as much of a left leaning bias on MSNBC as the "news" celebrities on Fox communicate a right leaning bias.

I still think CNN makes an attempt at remaining neutral if only because they tend to bring in a wider range of opinions during roundtable discussion type formats.

If the administration wants to go after Fox, that's their prerogative. I hope the other news media can see where this is heading. If MSNBC, CNN, CBS and ABC think they're going to be immune from this, they'd better think twice.

This is how it starts kiddies. Once the government starts squelching those that disagree with them, there is no end to it until EVERYONE is squelched. It's called state owned media. Look at Venezuela for an example. These actions are currently in the playbook of one Mr. Chavez.

I do understand that there are folks here that both condone this behavior and idolize Mr. Chavez.

Make sure this is really what you want. The turning back process takes many decades and will more than likely be bloody.

So he speaks about health care and the economy and the wars 99% of the time, but the admin tosses off one sentence here and there about Fox and that translates in your little head to their no. 1 priority.

yeah...

This is a bad move by the whitehouse. It really makes them look bad. The right way to handle this would have been for Obama to have done an interview on Fox just like he did with other networks. When you have nothing to be afraid of and can answer the questions that are asked, you don't avoid them. The fact that he did not appear on the network weeks ago is when I became concerned. Now making it official that they don't like what the network is saying reinforces the belief that they don't want to answer the questions fox poses. Again the right way to handle this is to simply respond to the questions. When you play games like avoidance rather than answering them that gives the appearance of you having something to hide. It isn't hard.

Looking at history the last time this happened was with Nixon and we know how that ended.
"Ziegler under no circumstances is to see anybody from the Washington Post and no one on the White House staff is to see anybody from the Washington Post or return any calls to them . . . -- just treat the Post absolutely coldly -- all of their people are to be treated in this manner."

"The Post is going to have damnable, damnable problems out of this one. They have a television station . . . and they're going to have to get it renewed. . . .The game has to be played awfully rough."

The difference between Obama and Nixon, however, is that Nixon was trying to hide a crime and prevent being impeached, and Obama is identifying a bunch of pond scum as the lying pond scum they are. You fools keep making these moral equivalency arguments where there is no moral equivalency.

Then why not answer questions when asked ? It is very simple. Someone ask a question, you answer it, you don't avoid it. Avoidance only gives the appearance of deception.

Have you stopped beating your wife. Just answer yes or no. No appearance of avoiding the question please.

Fox isn't interested in having questions answered. They have one interest and it is to destroy Obama. They are a part of the Republican party. They are mind poison for the nation, traitors out to enrich the few at the expence of the many. They are moral scum. If I were Obama I would simply identify the companies that advertize on Fox. Murdoch is a swine who has made billions preying off the sickest parts of the human psyche, the rights answer to Larry Flynt.

Questions like that are easily answered . Nobody can make you answer a question the way they want it answered. So I would answer , "I have never beaten my wife" . Intelligent people will realize that the answer given fulfills the request for information that the question posed. By refusing to give any answer at all implies guilt. Ask any lawyer what silence or refusal to answer means in a court room to the jury.

I had no idea President Obama's Communications Director was so vital to all those issues! We must curtail all her media contacts immediately so that she can concentrate on fixing all these vital issues that FNE says she is letting slip while she comments on... White House Communications!

So she uses her time to talk about FOX NEWS? And not ANY of these WAY more important issues? She isn't trying to promote Obama's healthcare plan, his plan for Afghanistan, his plan for the economy, his plan for the unemployment problem.. etc... She uses the press time she gets for trashing Fox News... Really... Really?

Unlike you, many people on this planet can multi-task and don't waste their entire day being a partisan tool on the Internet.
