Last time I checked FNC, MSNBC, and CNN are all delivered over cable so your silly public airwaves theory does not apply unless you are stretching the definition to include satellite up and down links. If you want to use that definiton then pretty much any content we use be it internet, cable, or broadcast uses the public airwaves at some point which makes it all subject to government oversight. Do you seriously want to make that case?

So? Do you know what I do when I don't want to watch something? I turn the channel to something else. That is my point in this entire discussion. If you don't like it, watch something else. I don't agree with the likes of Hannity either, but I don't care if others watch him.

Oh, and about the bolded part -- be fair here. CNN is notorious for doing this as well, with the most ridiculous examples being their economy sob stories.
