Do you have to have a gold account to get DLC? I'm considering the season pass but play all my online stuff on the PS3 now and haven't had gold in a year.(it's gotten good enough the 360 gold premium isn't worth it anymore) I'm not paying for gold to get DLC.

i'm pretty sure you can buy DLC with just a silver account.

No, you dont need one. I've bought stuff from the market place with only a silver account.

Interestingly, if I buy points directly from MS, instead of from a local online retailer, I can save nearly the equivalent of $20 in local currency. What a rip!

I'd like to buy the Limited Edition. Where is it available for pre-order?

I usually pre-order games through Amazon.com, but it seems that the Limited Edition isn't available there.

Man, and I'm only ~25% through Forza III with about 250 races under my belt. No way I have the time to finish this game...

It sounds like you've never purchased a Blizzard collector's edition before. ;)

Actually, I pre-ordered the CE for both Diablo II and StarCraft II without any problem. I guess I was just more on the ball with those than I was for FM4.

Anyway, I pre-ordered FM4 CE at Best Buy a couple of days ago. I don't normally like to shop at Best Buy, but after Amazon.com ran out of CE pre-orders I figured I may as well get the best bonus car of the bunch (BMW 1M).

It looks like FM4 yet again won't have any BMW non-M 3-series cars. This is absurd!

250 wheel + 200 pedals + 60 shifter + 130 stand

I don't like to think about it...:D

I would if I could. I'm sure it will be blast. I'm getting the game for my son for xmas ;). He loves racing games, and is pretty good at Forza 3, Blurr, and Split Second. Not bad for a 6 yr. old.

I don't recall the collector's editions selling out nearly as much back then, but they certainly do now... especially World of Warcraft related items.

I did pick up a LCE of Forza 4 from Amazon though. I mostly got the game because of the Clarkson commentary. :D

StarCraft II (July 2010) is "back then" to you?!

Actually, given that you mentioned Diablo II, I must have read the other title as "StarCraft" instead. :p

Getting a Blizzard collector's edition isn't too bad if you don't wait. If you go the day it's announced, you'll almost always get one. I remember when I bought The Burning Crusade expansion for WoW, I walked into Wal-Mart at about 12:30, and asked the guy if I could get one of those as I pointed to an unopened box of The Burning Crusade collector's editions.

Yeah, I sort of tried the same thing for Wrath of the Lich King, which wasn't a good idea.

The demo is strong IMO. They set it all on the Swiss track at 24 degrees Fahrenheit, so the RWD cars can definitely get out of control - some of the turns are particularly tricky in the 458 at speed. The Zonda Cinque is just insane. The F10 M5 is surprisingly dull (and I'm a BMW guy). Graphics look great, including the cockpit view, and the sound and handling are great (other than the godawful music). I look forward to playing LCE I have on order.

i must add that Rivals mode is very, very addictive.

the sound that zonda makes through the tunnel is just awesome.
