Fun race! One of the most fun cars was born in my garage as a result. Now it's time to cut the mullet for next week :)

Had a car @ 600hp/Class A and the lobby said that I didn't meet the requirements.

No other cars in my garage met the requirements (that were Camaros/Mustangs), so I dropped out. :(

What gives?

Not sure what the issue was with your car. Mayhaps the game was ringing you up as 600.05 hp or something. Do you have a mic? It makes racing much more fun and we can tell you where we're going and such.

Good to have a full crew tonight, fun racing!!

I'm going to buy a mic soon. I'll definitely try to get one for next week.

I'd have liked to see you run that Fiat on Fujimi...methinks you'd have found it less than forgiving :p

Definitely get a mic, makes it so much better.

And BTW, no offense to rejecting your friend request but I've got 99 people on my list as it is and I need that last spot.

No problem. I only sent you a request so that you could have more easily invited back into the game when I was having those difficulties. Didn't know you were running the thing at the time. :p

won't let me send out tune, so I am going to leave the build here and let you guys figure out the tune, recommendation I will give is that i prefer the suspension on the firm side for this car, and don't be afraid to go firm in rear and soft in front. it will flip in maple. A little bit more on this car is that in the RWD version it will snap steer very badly in the L turns at Silverstone, the AWD not so much, but will still catch you off guard sometimes. Dont tune to compensate the snap steer, keep the thottle up through turns to eliminate it.

spec Cayman S night, A600 2006 Porsche Cayman S:
No Engine Swap
AWD Conversion
Single Turbocharger

Race Air Filter
Race Exhaust
Race Displacement
Race Turbo
Street Oil and Cooling

Race Brakes
Race Suspension
Race ARB Front and Rear
Rollcage
NO weight reduction

Race Clutch
Race Transmission
Race Diff

Sport Tire Compound
Max Tire Width Front and Rear
Gemballa Turbo Sport or equivalent weight wheels

Full Forza Aero front and rear

More tuning tips will be posted on request

Welcome more tuning tips Famous :)

Also, a little something to get everyone through their Friday :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBdTDVIwrUU&feature=player_embedded

Mmmm....there are a number of points in the clip where the car comes around a corner and is bouncing off the rev limiter trying to get traction. Then the driver grabs second RIGHT as it gets to the camera and you get up close with the awesome growl of the motor torquing through second gear. VERY NICE

i will post my suspension settings for comparisons:

ARB: 18.4 28.5
Spring: 742.2 981.0
Ride Height: lowest
Rebound: 7.2 10.2
Bump: 2.0 4.5
Aero: middle for both

Another thing is that if your car is still feeling understeer after u adjust your alignments, add some rear decel. my rear decel is at 35% (my read decel is 50% now after a few practice on a short track) but if needed you can add more.

Also, for those who had my old tune, you might want to lessen the toe out (to neutral) and add some decel diff locking to the rear. it was very twitchy

Probably not going to try it, but those spring rates seem like a recipe for disaster on Maple Valley! :D

I tried famous' setup on Camino Viejo(SP?) last night. It's pretty decent. It gets a bit twitchy in elevation changes and pushes a bit much for my taste. Gotta do some tweaking at some point

Nice...those puppies are expensive eh?

If I remember right, the car is around $100k to $120k + parts for B class.

It is kinda high, probably should have posted it sooner to give everyone a better heads up. At least with it being a spec build you don't have to play around with part combos which can tear through $ pretty quickly as well.
