Oh, you all will love this. Got home from work last night and my wife (who's a teacher and off for the summer) was watching some show on VH1. Don't remember the name but the premise is that they take daughters/wives of rich people and make them live a "normal" life...she thought it was really interesting.

Anyways, walked in as they were introducing one of the girls, her dad was a liposuction/plastic surgeon in guy in California and the family was absolutely loaded.

Daddy bought her a brand new Ferrari F430 Scuderia...and she totalled it while driving it off the parking lot...

Oh the crime!!!

god dammit!!! sometimes I hate rich people.
and reality TV. there's probably a decent chance that it was all staged for shock factor. poor ferrari 🙁

i had a buddy in HS who's dad had an NSX...I found out one day he was selling it and was really sad...but it was replaced by a 360 Modena which i got to have a ride in, so that was pretty sweet.

Got on last night for a little bit. Not sure how much you changed but it's alot better than the first one. The first one seemed real sluggish but the revised one runs alot better. I ran 2 laps with each at Leguna Seca and my lap time improved with v2 by around 4 secs.

Same parts, but re-vamped the whole suspension tune, took out some aero, and added some more top-end. I moved up about 6k places on Camino from the first build.

pretty solid car, but I am sure I can adjust my style to get good results.

for my week, I plan to post the cayman build again but no tuning, u gonna tune your own. so save money for an 06 Cayman A600 (perhaps it's 100K at least, i am thinking)

dammit, stuck at work tonight, won't be able to make it at 9...maybe i'll catch the tail end. i was looking forward to this one

That is pretty much the car I drive every day which is 420hp @ the wheels. In FM3 the power is supposed to be @ the crank so about 495hp with that build. It was probably a little slippery for some of you because I do use TCS and ABS but no STM when I race. Maybe I should have made that more clear.

Nice. What are your engine mods? Still running Stage 2 here, might to an IC and small turbo eventually, but probly won't keep the car long enough to want to do a fuel system, water/meth, etc.

hehehe i bet your IRL car won't flip over as easy

Kudos for being one of the few that actually cracked the heads open and did something there. I bet the extra airflow from the cams & headwork helps spool that bigger turbo a bit better. I'm a little surprised you stuck with the stock pistons. Those seem to be the weakspots in the drivetrain.

Is that car still on your storefront? Even tho I didn't get to race, I'd still like to grab it to play around with 🙂

I almost bought a used set of Cosworth big valves, and went full tgv deletes, but I'm still running my Bugeye EJ20 semi closed deck block. its been running stage 3 or better since about 40k miles and its got almost a 100k on it now. As long as your oiling is good, and you don't run it lean breaking rings/lands/skirts isn't a big issue. its really knock that kills em.

Man, that was ferocious. Tons of flips at both Maple Valley and Sunset. Sunset ruined me...

I'll say. There were a few times all I did was touch one of the bumpers in a corner and over she went. From my limited playing so far I'd say T10 needs to increase the gravity a bit.

OK guys, here's my thoughts on this week's race:

*Mustang vs Camaro
*Any model year
*A600, max 600HP
*RWD only (of course)

Any objections?
