Good racing last night! Cars seems pretty well balanced.

After we ended the racing I decided to get my "100,000 points in 1 lap" achievement...SO not worth it. I n 1 1/2 hours I did 3 laps on Fujimi (lots of rewinding) and finally got it. First time around I hit 90,000, second lap I got to 98,900, last lap I did 110,000. Yay for 5G's...

I sent Quik a pm to see if he wants to make the pick for next week.

I've got a complete spec car / build that I've been working on. Tried last night to get Kabob to give me a second opinion on it but for some reason it wouldn't let me gift it or even load it too my storefront. If I can get it to work soon enough we can use it for next week if Quik can't come up with something.

Umm, I think it was the Seat Leon Cupra Cup car or whatever, honestly though I think any car will work. I was getting lots of drift points on our Fujimi race with the D class car and TCS on, with the A class Cupra and TCS off it didn't seem all that much better.

Well I just picked up a Slim 360 to replace my RROD Pro which has been rotting for a year or so and picked up Forza3. I'm only level 18 or so but I have a few cars.

Could I be added to the list, I might try to hop on next week. My Gamertag is Ayabe.

I'll take it. It's going to either be a single spec build or a WRC shootout from a few years back (i.e. Peugot 207/Ford Focus RS/Subaru WRX/Mitsu Evo). I need to play around with it a bit tonight.

And sorry about last night. My new LG has way less input lag than my old HDTV, so my handling was quicker than i was used to, and my cats chewed my headset so I couldn't make any passing calls.

Sounds good. And no probs with the input lag, we're just glad you're back! You'll get used to it though. I went from gaming on a 19" CRT to a 56" DLP to a 42" LCD all in the span of a few months, took some getting used to!

56" was my roommate's TV and then I got married and bought a 42". I didn't like gaming on a DLP as it was.

I was going to pick up a panny plasma after getting tax return but the one I was looking at was last years model & was sold out by the time we got the money. I almost picked up a 60" mitsu dlp that was onsale locally a few weeks ago but it was also sold out by the time I noticed it. What was wrong with the DLP?

The viewing angle on DLP's is awful. Response time isn't super quick and honestly I don't like the picture as much as LCD/Plasma.

Plasmas are fantastic and you can get 'em cheap.

OK I have posted the spec tune on my storefront for free of course. ATech Spec STi is the tune name. We are racing my personal car (AKA my daily driver) this week, but in sedan form since Turn10 won't put my wagon in the game. A600 2004 STi.

So are we allowed to buy your identical parts, but tweak our own settings? :sneaky:

Or will we be racing exactly the same cars, down to the spring rates?

It's a full Spec tune. Just the way I built it. I would be willing to make a non-ABS version though the brake bias is 49%/51% with 106% pressure if the non-abs guys really want. I'm not the greatest driver driver but I ran a top 1% clean lap @ Camino with it last night. I want to say it was 22k out of 1.8 million.

Sounds good. I don't mind driving with abs brake pressure, I'll adjust my finger, no biggie.

This is gonna be awesome!

I can say it drives nearly identical to my 03 WRX Stg 3 wagon except i had to fudge it a little bit to try and get it to handle a little more like a 50/50 weight distribution. The extra metal and glass for the wagon actually provides a little better weigh distribution and handling balance than the sedans. You do give up a little rear chassis stiffness, but that is pretty easily rectified with a rear wagon style strut bar. My times on Laguna are within are within 2 seconds of my real life laps (with the Forza times being faster) since I didn't have to worry about wadding it up in the corkscrew. ;)
