I can't get onto XBL for some reason, so I've been bumming around. Found this on youtube. Audi R10 TDI lapping at Road Atlanta. That thing is so...quiet!!

And the sound of the AIR moving over the body, now that's a quiet 650 horsepower car!!!
*edit*
Holy #@!*!!!!!
In 1999 Peter Dumbreck momentarily shot to world prominence when he not only survived but walked away uninjured from a horrifying high speed incident during the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans race when his #5 Mercedes-Benz CLR somersaulted into the woods at about 300 km/h. Mark Webber had already suffered similar crashes in the #4 car during the Thursday night practice and the Saturday morning Warm-up. The remaining #6 car was retired immediately, and the team withdrew from all other planned entries in endurance racing and ALMS.

I'm using a calculator tune for now to get a feel. Turn-in is great but the rear end is loose. This is all based on weight/distribution so if your car isn't a vanquish with this exact ratio the tune is no good for you.
Weight = 3875
Weight distribution = 53% front
Aero F/R = 85/130
Tires - 29/28
Camber n0.9/n0.8
Toe 0/n.02
Caster 5.4
ARB 25.2/20
Springs - 834.3/706.6
Rebound - 12.95/12.79
Bump - 9.14/8.02
Diff 50/35 (can use some work)
I think the rear might be a little stiff, but the front steers really well. Tire pressure/temps look good. Overall a good starting point.

A few more suggestions for upcoming race nights:
Stock night! We can only use the default cars in each class, everyone gets a turn to pick the car and track, no complaining. (not sure how painting will work for this)
Rotary engine night! Grab some lube and start your Wankels. RX-7s / RX-8s at their finest.
Full damage night! (maybe limit this to 1 race a week?) will any of us actually finish a race? Probably not.
Spin off: demolition derby in beater cars. Last one running wins!

I'll admit, I'm guilty of bumping people sometimes (it always seems to be Queasy, not sure why; it's completely unintentional, please don't ban me! 😛 ) but I try hard to race cleanly. I get satisfaction from racing hard and making a good move to get by someone or dogging them until they make an error and slipping by. It can be frustrating to be racing well and be taken out of the race by no fault of your own. I had a terrible night with the Mini, partially because of my own stupid mistakes and partially because of getting wrecked.Originally posted by: kabob983
