You might like this station...

The old elevator classic Percy Faith - Summer Place theme

That one was creeping me out for awhile, and I don't know why. Seems like it might have been used in a horror flick, and something bad happened during that tune, but I can't remember.

You are correct I love that stuff. It's just so light and halcyon that it begs to be juxtaposed with something dark and creepy.

Nice!

Youtube is sadly lacking in her Turlough O'Carolan planxties, but you might like Joemy Wilson (hammered dulcimer):

This is very good - Amazon ASIN: B000001HAP - Carolan's Cup: Music of Turlough O'Carolan on the Hammered Dulcimer (switch to MP3 format for samples)

Edit: for early music, Phillip Pickett teamed up with Richard Thompson for The Bones of All Men:

Just gave the OP's links a listen. I guess I don't like real music. Was hoping I did. Granted, my tastes are way way off from what was linked. To each their own.

Not bad. I have a couple of Steve Cole albums, which are a little bouncier than these, but those tracks you posted are nice and relaxing.

I'm fine with most music as long as it isn't techno, dubstep, or autotuned mess.

I automatically reject people that present their opinion as fact. I have had to do it to myself when I let my emotions run amok. I have already been at those crossroads with you, via the internet. It seems like you are one of those people that diarrhea opinion and never once consider another viewpoint. Also, not so much. I guess I am in the minority for taking a lot of time before I post, and sometimes just refusing to do it for years at a time.

I suppose it is a good thing that you, and people like you, have broken my spell of thinking first and then posting, but I have to wonder if the crap posts I have put down in the past year or two are really worth it.

Most people, myself included, are willing to see another viewpoint. At the end of the day, however, many people's opinions don't change. I like something, you might present something different, but that does change the fact that I like what I like.

True, true. I used to "hate" country music, and was a staunch believer that gun control was the path to peace and harmony.

I since have changed those opinions, which I believe are pretty strong ones, and certainly took some mulling over.

I think your argument falls under "different strokes for different folks" or whatever you want to call it.

You and I can agree to disagree, but hopefully we can also agree that these polarizing opinions can be destructive, especially when there are some sadistic people who would rather line us up on our differences instead of what we have in common. I guarantee we could find more in common than different if an impartial moderator asked us 50 questions.

yeah it has vox sounds but it's more of another instrument used by the composers.

one of the comments to the video does sound links to different parts of the CD.
Has a very bleak espionage movie feel on the first track.

Or perhaps you say it's not real music unless people perform it with live instruments in this case...
