How did I know this thread would evolve into verbal abuse before I even read it? People's taste in music is very widely varying.

How about some Bonobo? Not really jazz per se, but great chillout music. One of the artists I listen to a lot when I'm at work and need to concentrate on something (I love music with lyrics and complex parts, but when I'm working I find myself doing too much listening and not enough working :D)

Let's see, a guy posts a thread with an inflammatory title such as this one, which directly and unequivocally implies that whatever else you enjoy, is not real music, and you wonder why it elicits a strong reaction? Why don't you direct your comment towards the OP?
