The Iraqis hate us a multitude times more than the Iranians do yet a lot of you Anti Iranians seem to have a soft spot in your hearts for them.
Iraq is weak and harmless in a global way. I don't think many people have a "soft spot" for Iraqis, but some of us do pity those unfortunate bastards who could not prevent their fanatic leader to drive into the state of chaos they live in now. Most Iraqis are born and raised with deep unchangeable hatred towards the U.S and its allays, and were more than happy to kill any of us given the opportunity. As I said, I don't feel sorry for them, I just pity them.
Iraq is what Iranians should look into and figure out if they want to be next.
We have no other choice.
what exactly do you think they're doing? why do you think iran is trying to help the insurgency in iraq?
iran wants the united states out of iraq so that iran can take it over so it won't be a threat to them in the future. both the iranian government and the iranian people don't want the united states to take over iraq because they see it as a threat. the government sees it as a threat politically and the people see it as a threat socially and politically, but not the same kind of way the government sees it as.
the contrast is that the government doesn't want to be overthrown because they still want power whereas the people don't want the americans to overthrow the government because it would just cause a mess. the iranians want to create their own new government... they don't want it forced on them or made for them. the people want to bring about their own revolution... and with each passing day, they get closer.
the threat is that if america attacks iran, the people would have no choice but to side with the government.
by the way, you're way wrong about iraqis being born and raised with a deep hatred towards the united states.
that's retarded, yet unsurprising coming from someone who knows little about the middle east except for what they may have heard from someone just as ignorant.
Its not really amusing the way you're going about calling everyone who doesn't necessarily agree with you retarded. The only thing it proves is that you cannot really justify what you say, so you resort out of desperation to foul language (unless of course, you have clinically diagnosed about half of the people in P&N to be mentally retarded, which would then make me wonder how come you're hanging out with us).
According to what you say, I get the impression that you're a middle eastern Arab, which suits the opinions you post here. I can assure you that having met you here doesn't really improve my opinion of Arabs. If anything, you're doing a vary bad service for your people.
And finally I'm not going to argue with you because I follow the rule:
"Never argue with an idiot (that's you
eits) because he would drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience".
By the way, look how great the U.S is, the reason you're allowed to spread anti-American propaganda here (in America!) is thanks to the freedom of speech. If we would've been in Iran, and you would've tried to spread anti-Iranian propaganda you would have been
dealt with.
i actually called you ignorant. i didn't call you retarded.
once you get to high school, i'm sure your reading comprehension skills will improve.
also, neither "retarded" nor "ignorant" is foul language.
also, i'm neither middle eastern nor an arab. i was born and raised in the united states. my dad is from iran and my mom is from michigan.
these are my parents. this is the house i grew up in. notice the american flags (window and mailbox) and notice that my dad doesn't have a beard or a turbin on his head... also, it's worth noting that my mother does not have bruises or scars and does not wear a headscarf. in fact, my mom is the bread-winner of the family... and *gasp* my dad doesn't care!
i grew up learning about iranian culture and heritage, as well as keeping up to date with current events in iran on an almost day-to-day basis. i celebrate persian holidays. my dad would watch iranian news on public access every saturday morning and would listen to a special radio that would tune in iranian news broadcasts. needless to say, unless you're some kind of middle eastern scholar who's been to iran and has grown up talking to, listening to, and living with persians, i know far more than you do when it comes to iran and/or middle eastern affairs.
you called me an idiot... i called you ignorant. that's a huge difference, which, ironically, makes you the idiot for not understanding it.
find me a post where i spread anti-american propaganda. wait... actually, before you start, you should know that i've never done it... i thought i should let you know before you wasted a ton of your time. what i HAVE done, and will continue to do, is dissent against the current administration for their lies towards the american public and the world and various fundamentally anti-american acts. that, my ignorant friend, is called patriotism. believing and defending everything this administration, however, is called being ignorant and a fascist.
