Florida woman killed after falling into wood chipper

Yes, like Fargo: "A tree service worker died when she accidentally became caught in a wood chipper, police said. Her entire body passed through the machine. Roziland Jennifer Mowell, 24, of Lakeland, was working with a crew from Ashbranch Tree Service on Wednesday when she became caught in the chipper, police said. Mowell's husband, R. Bryan Mowell, owns the tree service company."

Take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

i'm so glad they didn't have a picture of what a wood chipper looks like. Right now all I have in my head is someone being chopped up, which is gruesome enough without having an actual picture of it.

I guess she didn't pay enough attention to the little cartoon characters on the warning signs that they stick all over those wood chippers.

Kurt McConnell, 14, was killed caught in a chipper while working with his father's tree-cutting crew in Gainesville.
I think I remember when that happened..

In Valrico, Joshua Avery, a 22-year-old tree trimmer, tried to free a stuck branch in a wood chipper with his foot and was pulled into the machine up to his waist.
That sucks.. 🙁

They showed a similar scence in James Bond's A View to a Kill. Towards the very end, Bennecio Del Toro get thrown into a "gold chipper" feet first. That was gruesome.

I hope she went head first...I couldnt even imagine what it would feel like going in feet first.
The only upside to that is you probably wouldn't feel it for very long...

thats a jackie chan film, can't remember the name of it

reminds me of the final scene in Fargo where that bad dude was 'wood-chipping' his accomplice
before he was caught.

that was in Liscence to Kill, and he whent through a cocaine chipper.

one of my neighbours went through a round baler, which would be similarily brutal.

Actually, there wouldn't be that much of a mess. Plus if you passed a few dozen board feet of lumber and brush in behind it, the chipper will clean itself. Trust me, the police know this already because there's been several well publicised cases where erant husbands put their wives dead bodies through the wood chipper. Watch some of the police shows. You'll see it form time to time. I first saw it on America's Most Wanted.

Read about that quite a bit down here, dunno why. It's probably been a year since I last read about it, back then 2-3 people in as many months were getting killed or loosing limbs 'unjamming' them.

I guess if the limbs are not smooth you could throw one end in and get caught but damn if I wouldn't be extra careful around those things.

now this is horrible, when you dont even die...
