Photo stream is cool. Took a bunch of pics on iPhone. Opened my iPad and they all downloaded to it. If you have a Mac it will automatically import into iPhoto via da cloud

I read you couldn't manually delete the photos from the cloud. That's crazy and will get lot of people into trouble before they find out. Go go naked pictures.

Heard some complaints about it only backing up pics from the last 30 days, and not letting users delete specific photos from the stream etc.

Need a Mac for full control but it's still a good deal. No need to plug your phone in to import photos from it.

After 1 day of use.

Best cell camera I've used.
Best screen, works amazingly even in bright sunlight
Huge antenna improvements. The wifi antenna is just as good or better than my iPad 2
Good battery

Only complaint is the screen looks small after I dumped my htc inspire. But small price to pay for an overall better phone

Yeah the cell camera is pretty crazy. I'm not even sure if I want to keep my 3gs photos

I saw that I had 5 bars (on AT&T) and I decided to test my speed. I ended up getting 450KB/s. Well, the first time I got 3300KB/s, and then I remembered to turn off my WiFi. ;) But anyway... 450KB/s isn't too bad. I'm just glad the upload is much better than my 3GS.

wow... i can't believe that Turn-by-turn navigation (spoken) is a subscription! wow! That's insane! on my android, telenav was free! and it spoke the street names! wtf is this pay 3 bucks a month or 20 bucks a year for your navigation to speak to you?

That's a rip off, i say... especially when everyone else is free!

Relatively speaking, $3 per month is not that expensive. But everyone will agree that free is much much better. You can try Mapquest 4 for voice navigation, but it's a bit crappy. Your best bet is probably TomTom for $50. This is definitely one area where Android provides more for less.

that's one of the areas where palm, android, WP7, provides for less! a perpetual money pit (albeit low) for navigation!

Sounds like you have the Sprint version. If so, do they include the option to force roaming?

Sprint's smartphone plans are supposed to include turn by turn navigation for free. I guess we'll see if they release a version Sprint Navigation for iOS.

I guess i should say that's the only thing I miss... wow I plopped down like 10 bucks already on apps! lol.

Couldn't help it... real racing 2 looks amazing... almost like a console game... (or maybe like GT for PSP)

GT for PSP is actually worse... 4 cars on screen at most, cars don't have live reflection, there is no interior model so interior view is like a pitch black space with a car window looking outside, and there is only synthetic shadow so some scenes look very static.

But aside from Real Racing 2, I'm not aware of any other game that takes advantage of the 4S.

Did you get Infinity Blade? Does it run well?

Do you guys have any case suggestions? I've left my EVO naked but think I'll need to put something on the 4S due to all of the glass.

Wife got a 4S on release day. So far she's happy with it, but disappointed that something like timeriffic to manage ringer, notifications and radios is not available from the app store. And of course google product integration isn't quite the same either.

I use navigation about once a month so $3/navigation is just silly.

Yes. But if you travel a lot, and to unfamiliar areas, $3 is not much. Assuming you use the iPhone for the whole 2 year contract, TomTom would make more sense at $50 since it's just over $2 per month at that point. But you can still use it beyond 2 years since you own it. Other thing with TomTom is that it'll work on all of your iOS devices. Granted you'd be tied down to iOS devices.

that's one of the areas where palm, android, WP7, provides for less! a perpetual money pit (albeit low) for navigation!

Things may be changing hopefully. I recall earlier this year Apple was hiring two application developers to work on maps....so maybe an update is forthcoming on that front. Probably good news for those with iOS devices, no news for Android folks.

wait siri needs to connect to servers to work?? why does it need to do that? isn't it just a speech recognition program?

It does context recognition as well. That takes some serious storage and processing power. It's still in beta BTW, and will take some time to iron out. It's pretty good as a Beta though.

Blah, I just used Mapquest.
Sure its not a 1st person view but it does pretty much what you need.
But yeah, free navigation is by far the best thing about Android.
