fired from target because of racism

I dont think the comments were mainly religious bigotry, more like racism...

How so? He was teased because of his religion, not his race. Judaism is a religion.
 
I tried to call my manager that fired me Chris Williams of target 1074 (305)9334616 I asked him to give me the corporate info. and he gave me a number to the merchandising dept. Then I calle d back and said to give me the corporate number, and he said that " I ain't dealing with this sht" and now he will not talk to me. The HR called me today and said i'm sorry for the way he treated you when he fired you, I said that I already filed a report with the corporation, and she said that's too bad, they will contact both of us and hear our stories, but I am looking to get more publicity and get the public to know what kind of store team works at my target.
 
this is highly unacceptable...i normally dispise people who do lawsuits for stupid reasons, but this doens't seem like a stupid reason, i say go after them.....no exuse

people will call me racist for this. but in MY life i've faced MORE racism from Black people than any other group. Ironic when you think about it.

Casio, follow the instructions on the linked EEOC page. Very helpful. You MUST file your complaint within "180 days from the date of the alleged violation" so get crackin'.
The EEOC's national toll-free # is 1-800-669-4000. Call that to find out the # and address of the local EEOC office near you where you will file your actual complaint.

You may also want to contact the Anti-Defamation League.

I am 1/4 Jewish. I'm a practicing Christian, but my ethnic roots run back to the Israelites of ancient times, also known as the Jews. I'm not 1/4 Israeli, because my ethnic heritage doesn't come out of the people group now known as the Israelis, although it's related to them.

I did not but the operator that gave him the phone knows about this and that he gave me the wrong number because when I called back I told her he gave me the wrong number and she went and got him and he told her to tell me, that if you want it to have your attorney call me.

What did HR say was the listing of why they let you go?? i.e. What are they going to say was the reason you were let go..

Have you ever been written up for ANY reason?

Being Jewish can either define one's religion OR one's race.
People can convert to Judaism but that does not make them
of the Jewish race.
Jewish people can practice any religion they choose, but they
are still Jewish by race.
Now, that being said, the person who started this thread did
not say if they were Jewish by race or by religion or both, so
we don't really know how they were being discriminated
against just that descrimination was occurring and that is
wrong in the US either way.
