Just wondering, would you have been a good candidate for Invisalign? Do you have anything that makes you a bad candidate.

everyone is a good candidate, but the best fastest results come from steel braces because they are stronger and no pain no gain. Besides most ppl don't follow their aligner wear instructions.

Everyone is not a good candidate. Invisalign cannot correct many problems that steel braces can.

Invisalign has no ability to correct openbite, and significant over and underbite. The company even mentions this. I know someone with a overbite who could not get invisalign. It also cannot correct a tooth that has errupted in the gum line.

I will get mine off in a few months. I have had them for 2.5 years already.

Cost was $4900 and I was 22 when I got them put in. Nothing fancy had to be done other than getting three teeth removed.

And braces don't hurt that much. For the first month or so they did and then every time they adjust them they would hurt for a few days but after a year or so, they hardly ever hurt when they are adjusted.
