totalling $5250 with all new patient packaging and whatnot. Kind of pricey for standard steel braces, invisalign costing $7000. I know of many places in not so great areas that would probably do it for $1000 less, but of course I had to pay for experience and the fancy facility. Funny though, because only the assistants put everything in, the Ortho hardly did anything except look over my teeth. The assistants were a bunch of burly husky 6' tall women who have very strong hands, emasculating even a rugged man such as myself. They only put in the bottom row since it hadd to be moved back in more than the top row so they want to move that in first before proceeding with placing in the top.
I went and did the xrays, they swore that they are all digital and hence produce such small amounts of radiation. I swear I felt diffferent after them. They put a thing to shield my chest, but no helmet for my head? Otherwise, they say I will have to wear these things for like 18 mo. After that, I will have a colin farrel smile
