I absolutely love the scenery in your neighborhood.

Scenery? I live in Sunnyvale, CA This ain't no paradise for sure.

Did you get it from Frontier Infiniti? How much do these go for nowadays relative to invoice?
Never mind, I see it's used. Not too shabby.

It's a nice car but the interior looks really plain and boring like many cheaper non-luxury cars. Doesn't seem like anything special to me but it should since it's a luxury car and you pay more specifically for how much nicer it is.

It's like a $50 Aiwa or Sony stereo system at Target exploding with flashing dancing rotating blinking beeping switches knobs and lights and "features"

vs.

Denon/Onkyo/Harmon Kardon/etc.

Some people appreciate simplicity and minimalism and know what they are looking for and that the product does what it does where it counts, and aren't deceived by the bling bling that the product sucks in it's primary purpose.

Boring can be good for those without attention deficit disorder.

It's around 45k or so when new. This is a year old ('08) with 18.5k miles.

i was wondering how you got that deal

^^ Why buy new when you can have relatively new for like +/- 50% less

Gratz on the car 🙂 I just got a 05 G35 my self. I am not a fan of that center console in the G37 or newer cars for that matter, I think the G35's Center Console looks better personaly.

Here is a pic

I like a simple yet functional Center console not all cluttered up with a huge lcd 😱.

But If I was looking at a G37 or any car with that type of center console It would not make me not buy the car.

Case by case 🙂 I fell in love with G's interior when I saw it at dealer, and now prefer it over my 325i (E90) or my friend's C (2008). (And that's one of the biggest reason I am going to get G soon, not A5 or C)

It's actually really nice close up. Very functional and well made. I've looked at other car interiors for cars in the same range but I find this pretty appealing compared to most other cars. An exception is Audi as they tend to have nicer interiors. On the other hand, I like mine better than the one in the 335i.
It's not obvious from the pic, but the driver sits a bit lower and dash seems to 'wrap' around you.

I was lucky. Not many G37's out there for this price but I've been looking for a while.

common i live in the same area and its not too much work to drive stick. G37S FTW, but its still a great car.

Agreed. But its hard to find a car within this price range with all your requirements. I guess you have to give something up. But the auto hasn't bothered me so far. My gf can now drive this now too.

Congrats on the ca. But I have to agree with others, I expected a bit more out of the interior quality for a car that retails new in the 45K region...but if you like it that's all that counts.

I guess I just expected more "bling" from a $45k car.
