FF8 the story line is really good, granted that's the only FF game I played.

never got the chance to play and beat ff8 or 9 :(

I did hear the story in ff8 was convoluted with time warps and shifts.

I wonder how it compares to Xenogears! (never got to beat that 80 hour game either).

FF6 is number 1 in my book. I loved the characters, great music, and the story was good, if not a tad cliche.

i still didn't finish FF7. I thought FF8 was ok. FF9 i enjoyed a lot. FFX was also a good one.

Chrono Trigger was and still is the bomb diggity shizznat. I also hold a special place in my heart for FF4.

How come no one has mentioned how horrible the draw system was in FF8. It promoted drawing battles out forever and never using magic....not good ideas for a game.

What was nice about that though was junctioning the magic you drew, and how you became much more powerful as a result of it.

I know, but it made you never want to use your magic because you would get weaker. Also, you would sit in battles, drawing over and over again, to get stronger. It just got boring doing that for me.

Oh I know exactly what you're talking about. Battles that should take 30 seconds taking 10 minutes because you're drawing so damn much.
