Final Fantasy 8

I started playing FF8 again, just to reminisce and damn this game rocks. Next on the re-play list is FF7 and Chrono Trigger.

Yeah, X was fun. It started to get a liiittle corny by X. X-2 is just pathetic though. I had absolutely no interest in playing that one through.

Was FF8 the one where they tried to be all realistic and had that guy with the "gun sword", and the academy at the beginning? If so, that was like the worst FF8 made (that I played, I didnt play X or X2)

I liked FF8 alot more, the characters seemed more real... sort of. I don't know why everyone disliked it.

I could never see the love for Final Fantasy 8. I hated the characters, the music wasn't too good, didn't like the world itself..etc. I dunno.. I'm not a big FF fan or anything but I really loved the SNES ones and enjoyed FF7 and X but part 8 didn't do it for me. I hated the main character too..Squall..Squash..whatever.

For awhile I used to call the game Final Fantasy 90210 since the characters always seemed to me like they were nothing but a bunch of whiny teenagers.

Of course to each his own and I'll try out X2 or whatever the last one was..I'm lost keeping track of all these FF games.

chrono trigger is AMAZING!!! i played this only on the snes, and was blown away at how good it looks, and the gameplay!

Sounds like I was right. Yeah, it sucked. FF9 with Vivi was pretty good for about 1/2 the game, then I realized that it was crappy and I really didnt care about the story or anything, even though I loved the style. That was probably why I didnt bother with any of the upcoming FF's. Yeah, that was it.

Actually FF9 was one of my favorite. So many side quests. Never played Ozma though

Squall was a bitch ass pussy. He had to like lob that unweildly piece of sh1t sword around and basically just "dropped" it on his enemies. Now cloud on the other hand had the mega uber sword and waved it around like it was featherweight.

9 sucked cause it had flying boats. Flying boats have to be the stupidest fvcking thing ever. LONG LIVE FF7!

FF9? Hrm I have that as well but never bothered to play it. The small bodies and big heads didn't quite grab my attention. I must agree out of the Final Fantasy's that I have played X is the best. But c'mon guys give 8 a chance 😉

I didnt like 8 at all, 7 was great, 9 stunk and 10 was very good. 10-2 stunk.

I didn't finish FF8 and 9 because my memory card went crap on me :|

Chrono Trigger is the best IMO.
