And the whole "sample this then buy a box of it" thing works, at least with me. Over the years, there have been plenty of tasty little suckers that I've liked enough to purchase that I probably wouldn't have considered otherwise.

I have for sure had more than one sample at the tasting stations but I take turns with others & would never dream of punching anyone, let alone a 78 year old man! And the sample tables do work, makes buying the product an easy choice 🙂

The only surprising thing about this story is it's the 1st time I've heard of it happening. This should be a weekly occurrence with how the greedy ass people in there act over the samples. I've seen plenty of people take 3 or 4 at once because they don't want to be fair and have to wait in line 3 more times.

Shit yeah. I don't want to reinforce any stereotypes but every ethnic group has its own sitcom now that does precisely that. For Chinese, check out the show Fresh Off the Boat which premiered its second season a few days ago. The mom would have somehow negotiated Costco to pay HER for eating one of their wretched hot dogs.

Too bad this kid didn't get the s hi t kicked out of him a the costco. Back in the day you respect your elders. This "me" first mentality had to stop.

On the show, they refer to themselves as Chinese. I understand the political difference but I'm not sure how much of a difference there is ethnically. I know people who are from northern Italy that would be offended if you confused them with southern Italians. But that doesn't mean that there's any real difference in terms of ethnicity.

We do not have Costco around here (at least 2 hrs drive) but we do have Sam's. I did not see anyone hoard all the free samples at Sams from my experience as a Sam's member of over 10 years.

That is my biggest gripe at costco. fuckers who are clogging the isles with no consideration that there are people behind them to get a cracker with some goop on it with no intention at all of buying it. makes me want to kick them in the ass and yell move your fucking buggie you piece of shit. 😡

I about got a cracked rib from a Chinese lady trying to get in front of me in a checkout line at a Safeway in San Francisco. They have bony little elbows.
