Fence that goes under the ground when you press a button then comes back up when you press the button again

How much do you think a fence something like that would cost to go around the whole front yard? Lets say a average sized front yard. Prices doesn't have to be perfect or right on the dot. The fence doesn't have to be that high either. I am guessing $25,000

that would be kinda cool...especially for catching "that annoying neighbor on his way to borrow a tool" right over it...*thwap* nut shot!

Are you talking about doing it yourself or hiring a contractor?

I guess hiring a contractor because I am not sure if it would be easy doing it myself. Don't think it would be.

It's going to be much more than $2,500. For a good fence at my home, just the front yard, the cost was at least what you're talking.

Let me guess... You want to lower it when you mow the lawn. If not running a weedeater around the fenceline is your goal, pour a grass-high curb alongside the fence so you can mow everything, riding your mower right on the curb.

No actually I want to raise the fence out of the ground when the lawn is being cut and lower the fence whenever its not being cut.

Does this "lawn" happen to be naturally-growing wild weed?
