I dislike 'studies' like this.

'By examining the different ways that fear manifests itself in individuals and its correlation to political attitudes, the researchers found that people who have a greater genetic liability to experience higher levels of social fear'

Any article that starts off like this had better have an awful lot of reference points to back up such a bold start to a sentence...

More guns. Less education. Real Americans. The backbone of the GOP.

What is your opinion of those on the left who are using fear, appeal to emotion, and disinformation, and in some cases doing whatever can be done to circumvent normal hearings and public input to push forward their anti gun agenda? Seems there's some basis for concern, and I bring it up as you mention guns.

First, learn to spell. You really don't know the difference between the different "yours"? This is basic elementary school learning here.

Yes, being gay is normal and happens in many different species, including our own.

There is no left in the US political scene outside of one senator... how could we really have much of an analysis on such a small group?

I looked up the paper itself, seems to me the actual data comes from much too small of groups to be making such grandiose conclusions.

I applaud you on doing a good job of turning my argument around against me. I said that both sides use fear, I just feel that the conservative side uses it far more. But your list is a good example of it from the other side.

You can't seriously expect people to take you seriously when you type like this can you? You have the most disjointed and poorly written posts that just make no sense.
Agree, liberals are much worse and fearful

Seriously? This coming from the ultimate anti-muslim fear monger on here? You only sound barely less insane than Nemesis. Which is the same as saying you're more crazy than 99.998% of the country.

Seriously? Calling me anti-Muslim? I have never expressed hatred for Muslims, radical Muslims yes. Next time try to use some facts

Say what you want but I have been right all along, I warned about the mb and I was right, I warned about obama and I was right, I was right on radical Islam when the "vigilantes" went to jail

I have done more to defend Muslims from the left, It was me taking obama and the cronies to task when he was killing Muslim children in Pakistan and I constantly talk about these illegal drone strikes

Besides your a partisan hack, You cant be taken seriously

Less education . Really . How has the American education system done in real testing Comparred to 1963 when darwinism was introduced . 75% of all teacher are lefties today . 1963 It was the other way around . Your Fear of guns is alarming . I hope when they do you. its with a knife the slow way a live skinning . You will like the guns better durring an ordeal like that . If you people actually believe a law can be made to take our guns . Your grip on reality is completely gone . Since You don't have guns , Those femma camps will be needed by your types. He's referring to what happened at the state level in NY. And he's right.

He is. But that's also an outlier. I'll see your irrational liberal fear of guns and raise you irrational conservative fear of government, gay people, poor people, brown people, science, and on and on and on that forms the driving force behind modern conservatism.

And I'll raise you irrational liberal fear of corporations, values, rich people, the "patriarchy", religion and on and on.

And I'll see those and raise you fear of self-reliance, climate change, religion, rural lifestyles, white males, the rich, corporations...

Both sides have long lists.

Libertarians are getting picked on here? Probably one of the least fear-driven political groups around.

Which has nothing to do with my particular point. "I'll see a wrong and raise you another" is hardly comforting. Guns were mentioned so that point is being addressed. Bad things on the right/Reps notwithstanding, the left/dem anti gun campaign is something the likes of Karl Rove could be proud. Hardly a commendation.

Frankly I'm distrustful of partisans, but of course I dislike " party over all" philosophies.

You can try to impose your false equivalency all you want but those "long lists" that "both sides" have sure start looking more and more lopsided when you look at actual election strategies and initiated legislation.

What do you mean?

Both sides try to legislate against what they are afraid of.
